I like how the first lead-in hit of Witch Twist is apparently strong enough to trigger Finish Zoom, but doesn't actually kill, so in all those clips she has to continue with her Fair string and get a SECOND Finish Zoom. The first one is just to let her foes know how screwed they are.

I just had this recommended despite not picking up Smash in a year. This video did a great job reminding me why I picked her up as my secondary: to have fun in style. Very clean combos and informative. Liked.

Bayonetta will forever be my smash main! I love her way too much to stop using her! She’s just so fun to use! Plus she’s a sexy, sassy witch! What’s not to love! Plus her being in smash got me into the Bayonetta series which is my favourite video game series of all time! She might be challenging to master it feels amazing when you master all those combos or do those perfect counters with witch time.

I picked up bayo bc my friends said i was a meta abuser, i always liked her combos and after i picked her up i gave up my previous main and only played bayo.
Back then combo video/bayo guide didnt exist yet so i had to find all the combo myself wich was kinda fun. But you actually surprised me with your combos a few i didnt know could combo or some mix ups.

Bayonetta was the first character I tried at the very beginning of Smash Ultimate. I thought she was so cool. Of course, I was a dumb kid at that time (I didn't even know about her Smash 4 incarnation), so I passed her over without really knowing what she was capable of. But you made the case for her very well in this video!

Loved the video! There's no other character in this game that I've had as much fun with as Bayonetta. She has free flowing combos, she has great movement, she can be played in so many ways, she has Bats Within, she can spend forever in the air (almost feels like I'm playing someone who can fly), and more;
I remember picking her up years ago at the start of Ultimate because I loved her look and vibed with her attitude, and even though she was hard at first, I stuck out with her and it was so worth it. Maining her even got me into her games and those have become some of my favorites of all time.
Also, glad that since this video her results in tournaments have improved even more. More people need to realize her true potential!
Loved this video. Bayonetta was one of the last characters I had to get into Elite smash back when the dlc was still releasing. I'm in the mood to play some Bayo rn, all bc of this excellent video!

Me and my friends have all mained random since Covid Wifi was a thing, And we were all under the impression bayonetta was one of the worst characters in the game.
I picked her up to improve my weakspot and after a few weeks of teething I agree that she's the most fun I've had playing ultimate since it originally hooked me in. Thanks for the great video

The release of bayonetta 3 has me worried how she will function in the next smash game, i hope they dont overhaul her to have a moveset based on bayonetta 3 rather than the current bayonetta 2 one
Considering they won’t rework Ganondorf with a moveset to actually reflect his games, I wouldn’t worry much about that happening

3:34 Actually Smashville is probably her one truly bad stage since she can’t act out of witch twist under platform and short hop fair doesn’t finish on the platform when hitting an opponent
Yep, luckily the opponent hardly ever knows that fair 2 stops. You can cheat in combo loops sometimes, or you can fast fall fair 2 and go for mix ups. Its not too bad as long as you are aware of the limitations on that stage. Similarly for Kalos side platforms.

I had to fight against meta knight in the brawl and then I had to suffer the wrath of bayonet in smash 4 and I honestly hate them
Good thing ultimate is so balanced. I also hated the fact that bayo was too strong in smash4, couldnt enjoy playing her.
