As Panther fans, we never felt that we didn't want CMC, but rather that we didn't want to waste his prime years year in the Carolinas. CMC will always be in our hearts, and it was difficult for us to see him get traded as well, but at the end of the day, we wish him nothing but success because he disserves it.

Carolina gave it a good try to win with CMC. Unfortunately Cam & CMC were your only real offensive pieces so they kept getting hurt because they're always targeted. Especially when Cam kept running over linebackers and kept getting hit. I respect what you guys did in Carolina even though it didn't work out. A few seasons there if CMC didn't get hurt he would have won a couple MVPs or at least one.

As a Panther fan, I was sick in one way when Christian was traded, but, more than anything, I was happy, because I felt that he was taking too many snaps because the level of talent wasn't here. Christian is an amazing human being, as much so as being an amazing player. He is so very humble, despite being such a force and one of the best RB's I've ever seen. I was always a fan of the 49'ers too, watched their games and knew many of their players, so I've found myself now being a huge 49'ers fan. I would love to see those young men win the SB; they all deserve it, and to see Christian get a ring in his first year of being traded would be icing on the proverbial cake. In response to Matt’s question of how do you turn off the emotion, I think CMC makes an interesting distinction between trying not to play with emotionally laden expectations in the sense of being overly concerned with this or that narrative through line (the way, say, a journalist or a fan would be), but instead being in the moment and playing with the kind of emotion that is measured to the moment. The first is playing emotionally, i.e. is being led around/dictated to by the emotions. The second, playing with emotion, is a process led by the playing of the game, which allows emotions to emerge organically as an integral part of those particular moments in that particular game. What it is really is is the difference between being halfway in and being truly present. To perform at the highest level in anything you need the latter.

Even if they don't win it all this year I have no doubt that Brock will be the one to lead us to title #6 and hopefully many more. Everything I keep hearing about how Brock spends his time trying to get better and be competitive. Would absolutely love to see them win it all this year cause this will be Jimmy's last year with us and I'm so thankful how his leadership has rubbed off on everyone and how fitting it would be for him to take us to the edge only for the new franchise rookie QB to lead us to the end and get what we've been so close to getting and that's a Superbowl Championship.

Have always respected him as a player.. was some early season buzz about the possibility of the niners making a move on him.. I was a nay sayer, thinking are run game was so dynamic that his skill set and level of play would be a wasted in SF.. never been happier to be wrong.. even with the strength of our run game schematically, he brings a certain capacity above and beyond.. decent runners can be a star in SF, this dude is God mode out the backfield

The Niners sound extremely focus and their extremely good which makes them an extremely scary team!, it on and popping come Saturday!...being from Motown I've always liked & rooted for both organizations depending on the Era as a kid now at 55yrs I just look forward to good competition...would love to see Gino do more but I think they just ran into the juggernaut of whole NFL!💯👊🏿😁😎💥💢💥

Christian McCaffrey was probably the best addition to the team this season. He has made just about every play work regardless of the situation.

How this hammer of a back didn't make the probowl is a crime. Best hands at his position, period. Hope he keeps smashing through people every weekend. Niners/Bills this year in the big dance.

Its no question by adding Christian and Brock Purdy elevating the passing game the 49ers offensively exploded...avg 30 points

Absolutely. This niners team for the last decade has been a hard nosed low scoring team with a lot of low double digit scores and winning. Now you take that defense and throw an efficient offense and it is hard not to enjoy watching them play pure team ball. I like the Packers but this team is a blast to watch on every level. :)
