      Not a 49er fan until I was Passing the tv and I saw a still (from the waist up-during Purdy's first game) and I could intuitively discern that God-given-alignment in whoever, that was; and I said to all watching, the Niners are going to the Super Bowl!!!! And now I am a fan Big Time because I love that free God ride. Purdy says he is faith based . . . SO MUCH MORE!!!!!! That dude has had other lifetimes as God's child. It is so obvious. I am truly sorry for all of those scouts who missed out on him BECAUSE THEY KNOW NOT GOD AND COULD NOT FEEL WHAT THAT DUDE IS MADE OF! Now Christian M. is a WILL monster; but he has not that pure God element. And Kittle is pure play - not as pure as Brock but being around Brock will up his game. And the rest of them will up their game because SCIENCE is REAL!! What do I mean? Well, Brock gets them into the ZONE--which is electromagnetism! I won't get into the details (the time derivative of the magnetic field . . . ) by radiating his God (Christ, Samadhi- Fullness) to them and they mirror it back in sameness - creating a UNIFIED FIELD! Damn, wasn't that the thing (the Unified Field Theory) that boy Einstein could not solve? Anyway you line them up and I can tell you who is 'bringing IT! Not the way Billy Bean does it with his computer boys but with God's refined antenna.

    As a Seahawk fan I hate the Niners, but I love this kid. It's going to hurt but I'll be cheering for him to do well. This is what starting 4 years in HS and 4 years in college does. His game experience and being under pressure really makes a difference! I hope Sea can draft a young QB this year who will take over from Geno in 2024 and we can get some Sea/SF battles again. Russell Wilson can learn from this kid about being genuine and human in interviews instead of the cliche machine he has become.

    Rams fan here... Really enjoying watching this Niners run behind Purdy. Struggled a bit vs Dallas but got the job done. Just a poised, confident guy putting in the work. Great pick by the SF staff and great effort by the guy.

    Purdy is one grade AA All American football great in the making. I’m no San Francisco fan but I am now a Purdy fan. He makes me want to see all the SF games and root for them. Except when playing the Cowboys!

    I imagine it must be so stressful waiting to get drafted like that. Round after round goes by and you don’t hear your name get called or get a call from one of the coaches and then boom in the 7th round you finally get drafted and I’m sure it’s a big relief

    When you see a story like this you have to believe that some people are born with special gifts and that destiny is real. How many other places would he have succeeded in?! How many things had to go right for this skill set to fall into this situation at this time? It’s an unreal story it doesn’t happen. Well, maybe the injury and the 3rd string guy coming in happens but it usually ends in disaster and we never here from QB3 again. That’s the story. Usually.
    Truly a remarkable story.

      I don't think there is any way they go back to Lance or Jimmy. I would assume Jimmy is gone and Lance will be traded when his rookie contract is up for renewal.

    I like Purdy. I started thinking, the advantage Purdy has is there is not a lot of film on Purdy playing with the San Francisco Team for other teams to watch before they plat against the 49's.

    There's nothing negative about calling Brock a system QB. Montana was a system QB. It just means that the QB is smart and uses the system as his primary weapon. It's every coaches dream to have a QB that weaponizes the system.
