    These people are the reason it's tough to still be emo and pushing 30. I've had my piercings and dyed hair since a lot of them were in diapers. I'm not getting rid of them because of the crazies - I like the style; I've had it for 15+ years - but it definitely gets exhausting for people to assume I'm one of Them because my hair is green and I have a septum piercing.

    I unsubscribed from Lynne and asked not to be shown video suggestions from her after she made a video bashing legendary piercing pioneer Elayne Angel as "transphobic" for using words like male and female. Elayne is at least twice her age and knows so much more than she does! I've passionately loved the history, culture, and art of body modification for much of my life (and got more serious about it in the early 2000s), and it makes me so mad to see these people making the entire modified community look crazy!

      There is a feminist activist in my country, having a loud voice since the 1970s. Her movement achieved so many things e.g. rape in marriage being a crime. Modern day activists call her a transphobe, because she wants to reinforce woman only places (no self-called non binary born male allowed). It gets more ridiculous considering she learned and talked about trans rights in 70s/80s. She still supports them but doesn't agree with woke modern mindset... I feel some people are quick to judge and cancel - exhausting.

    As a person who actually has balls, they are NOT getting all up in the way all the time like the way this person is describing, even when crossing your legs, riding a bike, etc. 😂 There’s these neat things called underwear, whether it’s boxers, briefs, a jockstrap, etc, that keep your junk in place. I can count on one hand the amount of times my balls have truly inconvenienced me and like 3 of those were on a jet ski 💀 It’s also not thrilling when it happens. This garbage needs to stop.

      Yeah I was wondering why that woman thought balls got pinched a lot. I was trying to come up with some no underwear scenario but couldnt create oke wheere it wasna comstant issue youd neednto readjust for pinching. Like you say it isn't a common problem. Like women and boobs, you get used to cetian body oarts and natrually accomodating them, along with the right supportive underwear.

    • @PrisonHoney96
      @PrisonHoney96 20 часов назад

      @ exactly. I don’t even know what they’d be caught or pinched on whether you were wearing underwear or not. This has just gone too far. They’ve gone so far woke that they’ve now circled around and are reducing gender to stereotypes, such as all men walking around legs spread wide open because their balls are caught on everything and it’s oh so hard. That’s just not how it actually is, and sticking big rings and hooks or whatnot in your flaps does not a man make 😂

There are some very creepy guys out there, who target lone females to get services from piercings to waxing, with bad intentions. I don’t understand how genital piercings would help gender dysphoria. The amount of cleaning and aftercare means touching your genitals all the time and like you said Marcus, it doesn’t change how other people use your pronouns!

    A professional body piercer is supposed to be able to pierce male or female genitalia without it being a personal issue. You're supposed to have the professionalism of a doctor when it comes to piercing, regardless of your gender, to make your customer feel at ease and believe that you know what you are doing.

  • @casusbelli91

    Back in the days I was something what they would call now a non-binary, because I was gender nonconforming. And I also had a weird thing for piercings. Getting a new piercing to feel cooler was a boost of selfconfidence (I don't know what that says about me or them for that matter - I am not a psychologist) and I think that this is the thing they mistake to be gender affirming here. This has nothing to do with gender and everything with a teenager's need to feel like a cool, individual person - while the visible piercings will probably spark attention and many of their peers will look up to them for their bravery. It think it is similar with tattoos.

    I have some people in my photography class who go by they/them. I do not interact with them, but if I do, Ig I refer them to "they." These people look like men and women. They don't look like they/them's. This girl in my class dresses in all men's clothes, hence, why she identifies as gender fluid, but I never seen her in women's clothes. I am fine with that. However, one of the guys in my class wore a long skirt. It kind of made me feel uncomfortable, but I am not the one to judge. People can dress however they want; however, I do not want them to be made fun of by people (even tho society is becoming more accepting these days). I wore boys clothes when I was 6 (before the gender bs). Tbh, the world is going down the drain very quickly. I hope this is a trend that goes away in a few years.

    Honestly it kinda seems like the gauged labia person was in fact using them to make themselves feel less gender dysphoria. I mean it's definitely extreme but less so than actually getting bottom surgery. I would assume this person isn't going around flashing people or constantly telling strangers about it so I don't see how it is pandering to trans ideology. I can see how something like that could maybe help cope with some gender dysphoria without the person actually believing they are a man. Is it kinda weird? Yeah. But I can also venture to say that gender dysphoria is a weird and perplexing thing to experience; and dealing with "junk" between the legs is part of a dude's reality so if that's what someone does to cope with their own particular dysphoria more power to them.
    I'm a cis man btw and I feel like someone having discreet body piercings like that is less delusional than someone expecting everyone else to use female pronouns for a non passing obvious bearded man because he's wearing lipstick for example. Idk... just trying to understand 😅

    Too many younger people are confusing 'gender affirming' with 'gender expression'. Unconventional hair colors and piercings are the latter, which is something that Bowie fans and punks and New Wavers knew perfectly well in the 80's. I was a teen in those days, so I remember that such fashion choices weren't considered political or a gender transition. This generation should know better.

  • @elizabethw9704
    @elizabethw9704 13 часов назад

    This isn't about judging anyone but just observing that the transitioning trend appears to be the expected evolution of body modification trends, I remember first seeing images of punk rockers with mohawks, tattoos and piercings back in the 1970s. And here we are today, it seems now that every other person has their arms splashed with a variety of inchoherent tattoos..
