I'm thinking to move to Northern Ireland from Reading :)) I lived in England for over 13 years, and want to move mainly because of property prices. I want to leave in a nice big house not in overpriced matchboxes.
I'm living in Belfast now. Really miss shops over in mainland UK: WHSmith, Wilko and Waitrose. Weather is much better over in the South East of England .
@@ruxiist Thought of another one, there's no Aldi supermarket in NI. No Fenwicks (department store) or Victoria Secret. Main thing that annoys me about Belfast is that there isn't a stationery shop (no WHSmith and Easons closed down), only a small Paperchase. So very much dependent on large supermarkets to buy stationery. There are a lot of food chains not in NI, e.g. Pret A Manger.
Very descriptive, kind and organized information here, this is splendid keep it up, just a question...is it advisable to work in the same hospital or different provided they are closer to each other based on your experience?
Few things not right here. You said you didn't pay any council tax in Northern Ireland. That's because it's called rates here, and your rates charge was probably included in your rent. Also water is not free in Northern Ireland, we pay for it in our rates. And rents have gone up exponentially in the past year.
@@CORRdapyaTV Just thought l should be speak up as it could mislead people. The rents are horrendous now. My son, who had been private renting for years, has given up on that now, as the rents have got so high, and has actually bought a wee house. We're just cleaning, decorating etc at the minute, to make it habitable for him. 😊
Airport thing actually not true can go holidays anywhere wee do have international airport plus actually cheaper go back to Philippines by just travelling to Dublin. Travel in general be more expensive private taxis in England are far more expensive than Northern Ireland and I’m not talking about rip off Uber
Yes thats true, however for foreigners who are not from the EU and not holding British passports we are not allowed to enter Dublin without a schengen visa. So it is not practical for us to apply a visa just to enter Dublin to get a flight going home to Philippines.
And to add, you don’t need taxi all the time to go to aiport here in England as the transport is very efficient. You can go by train or bus going to airports☺️

Hi Ana. Wla ako masyadong alam about the rates of other jobs, kasi sa nursing ang focus ko. But basically ang rate ng mga nag wowork sa hospitality is within the basic pay £7.5-8.5 an hour, depende nlang cguro sa employer mo if maganda offer nila sayo. Ang rent sa northern ireland is way cheaper sa England. So kung shared house ka around £200-300 a month, kung bahay naman meron ng £500 a month. Depende lang din sa tlagang malayong lugar ka.
