    I contacting you did too much! I have used the bubble wrap/egg carton method before and have NEVER had a broken cookie! The cardboard piece was new to me. Great video! Thank you!

    Pretty awesome and simple way to package cookies. I like how you reused those unrecycleable egg cartons.

    I just sent off my first EVER shipped package of RI sugar cookies! I used your method and I really think I did well and am hoping they arrive in great shape. It is just to a cousin so I told them they were my guinea pigs on the shipping front, so we will find out. Should be to them on Friday. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial video on how to do it.

    Beautiful cookies but yeah I think I would get a little frustrated trying to open those, and my customers would too. I think the answer is somewhere in the middle. Perhaps a bit larger of a box with bubble wrap in the box but not taped all around the cookie. Making the cookies snug. Thanks for the video though as it gave me some basic ideas. Great looking cookies!

    How do they remove the packing tape off the cookies later without the bag sticking to them and crumbling the cookies?

    • @thebearfootbaker
      @thebearfootbaker  7 лет назад +1

      If you only add the tape to the bubble wrap, the packaged cookie will slide right out and whoever you mailed it to can open it when they want to eat it. ;)

    Packaging alone looks time consuming, not to mention baking and decorating. My question is, do you make enough profit that it pays your wage on top of all the expense?

    how much do you charge customers for shipping?

    so, the customers need to repack them? or they will display them open? because mostly my customers always want them to be individually packed with ribbon..

    do you know how long the cookies can last before finally opening them? could they rot if not eaten before a week?

    • @thebearfootbaker
      @thebearfootbaker  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Hamsa!
      Sugar cookies have a longer shelf life than most cookies. They will last about 4 weeks when they are sealed in an airtight container, but I don't want people eating cookies that are older than a week old. If they do it's alright because I follow the rules when making them.
      When shipping decorated sugar cookies, I bake and decorate them as fast as I can. Once they dry, I place them in the bags and seal them. Then, I place them in the box and include a little note saying when they were baked so the person that is going to eat them has all the information they need.
      Hope this helps!

      +thebearfootbaker thank you so much for replying! i LOVE sugar cookies but unfortunately my sister across the country doesnt, do you think chocolate chip cookies would last? for how long? Also, in an airtight container, do I store then in a freezer or fridge, I'm not mailing/shipping them but getting on 2 planes that are a week apart with them THEN finally reaching my destination.. is that okay? any advice for my specific situation? I'm sorry for being such a hassle! thank you once again!
