Flood Consistency: 2 TBs icing to 1 tsp water
**Medium Consistency: 3 TBs icing to 1 tsp water
**Stiff Consistency: 4 TBs icing to 1 tsp water
Very Stiff Consistency: 6 TBs icing to 1 tsp water

5 TBs meringue powder
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp clear vanilla extract or flavoring of choice
(optional) 1 to 2 tsp glycerine
(optional) 1 TBs light corn syrup
2 pounds of powdered sugar (1 standard sized bag)
Michele Blood hi, I have always had issues with determining how many cups are in a pound. Could you please tell me how many you use? I see some calculators say 3.5 cups while others say 4.

Media : 3 c. Glaseado + 1 c. Agua
Duro: 4 c. Glaseado + 1 c. Agua
Más duro: 6 c. Glaseado + 1c. Agua
La receta del glaseado es
5 cucharadas de merengue
1/2 taza (4 oz o120ml) de agua tibia
1/2 cucharadita (las cucharaditas miden 5ml) de crema de tartar
1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla Claro o sabor de tu selección
(Opcional) 1 o 2 cucharaditas de glicerina
(Opcional) 1 cucharada de jarabe de maíz

I used My Little Bakery's "system" on my cookies this evening. I followed right along with her on the video when mixing my consistencies and lo and behold, I decorated my cookies the best I ever have. I am a beginner, but this is the first time I had confidence in my own abilities. Thank you for taking the guesswork out of the icing making process, thus giving me cookies that look better than I thought I could ever do.

Your tutorial is a step-by-step procedure for all the icing stages - so incredible 🤗 I've also watched your video on how to prepare the 'basic' icing and was thrilled to see that you use 'glycerine', something I always use when making my meringue icing for my Christmas Cake. I had actually said to myself that I'd add glycerine no matter which recipe I'd decide on using. Thankfully you've solved all my worries by including it in your recipe!!! Oh my goodness! I'm a beginner and have tried the whole timing method...which is great for some people...but for me this truly made sense! I can't wait to try this and see if this helps me become more sure of what the consistency SHOULD "feel" like! It's hard to see that through a screen when doing research.

I’ve been watching utube videos for over a month now as I’m interested in decorating...have always just baked, and I need to say I’ve just come across your video today and you are the only one I’ve seen that actually has a recipe in the different consistency of the icing !!

Agreed! Best I've seen as well. I have trouble getting consistency for details so I am happy to see what works.The 10 sec, 15 sec and 20 second are a no-brainer. Set the timer and keep adding water until a line drawn through the icing disappears. It's the piping icing that's been tricky for me. I tried 30 sec icing the other day and that worked pretty well. I'm going to try the 4 T. icing plus 1 t. water and give it a try. I think that will work even better. Thank you for making this video.

Thank you so much for the quick response. (i ordered icing bags online- lets see how it works out) Now i have a couple of questions i would like to pick your brain . lol
Sometimes on my second or third layer of icing on the cookie it will make a ditch when dry? why does this happen? It totally runes my cookie. If you have any colored icing left in the bag how do you storage it, or do you throw it out? If i store extra colored icing in the bottles it always separates. and i pour it out remix sometimes adding more icing and i'm thinking this could be my problem? Thank again for all your help. You are truly blessed with talents from Jesus keep up your creative work, i love watching it and following your journey.
