Great explanation informative video!... I too agree ..the skid plate SUCKED!.. I had 3-4 holes through it on 2 rides!...Ended up buying the iron Baltic skid/rock slider kit for mine...really a game changer...I had the cfmoto rock sliders before as well but dented them up pretty good.... The Iron Baltic kit is no easy install but it is doable... Just a FULL day to get it on..lol .. Also this is my second 950 as I totalled my first one by dropping off a 14 foot straight down cliff and landing on the front end and front portion of the roll cage...it did collapse about 8" but for the most part it kept me safe...I was harnessed in too.. Screw the stock seat belts.. I am onboard with the added support you did on yours...very good design!...I will be doing that to mine in the future....one real negative that I have found for me is the engine braking...I ride steep mountain trails andi hate the fact that I have to work the throttle and braking at the same time to keep rpms up to keep the engine braking active... It can get a little hairy when your hitting some really large rocks/ruts
going downhill and jarring your accelerator for while trying to keep the engine braking working..I did talk directly to the clutch maker, cv-tech, and they just stated that's the way their clutches work... That's an area that cfmoto should reevaluate....
Wow. Im glad you are alright.. My belief is that a good roll cage and a good harness is the most important part of a unit. I do stupid things sometimes and my stupidity is now safer with the cage upgrade and the harness. I do agree about the engine brake, having to gas and brake is quite the job sometimes especially when your butt clinching trails are hairy enough.

I really like the look of it black, mine is still red but did almost everything everything else but roll cage, in witch later I would like. I only have 30in tires. I wanted to ask if you ever had a issue as mine only has 150 k on it and has a bad hesitation at 4 to 5 thousands rpm after 5500 it wants to go like a two stroke wicked.. I have a stage 3 mud and can only get about 68 kph after that it goes in default mode and locks in gear, i have to shut off to get it out of gear. And I also have tune from MSC. Wondering if you have had a issue with one of those things with yours? If you could give me any pointers I would appreciate it.. My dealership can't seem to figure it out.
First thing is did you mean 68kph? Is this low gear? If so, then that is right. I have no hesitations on mine but I haven't had it out to really test the tune. As for the tires being 30" and it comes stock with 27'" this throws your speedometer way off. Keep that in mind. Even with the stage 3 clutch and no tune, I was still over 60mph and 32" tires in May when I was riding last. Did it do this before you got the ecu tune and clutch upgrade?

Looked through the list can’t find the spare tire carrier or the front roll cage that goes over the hood area.
I made and designed the cage and tire carrier. I did a video on it.

Not that I'm aware of. I did take the stock off and put high arched super ATV on mine.

I did. If you can weld, it's quite easy.
What kinda tubing or pipe u use size and wall thickness. I’m a welder by trade so that’s easy . U bend them and had the Bungs or did u have them bent if so who did
@@jeffstockton6674 I did the bends with a harbor freight pipe bender. It was 1.25 steel pipe. I'm a plumber and the pipe was basically free. I did buy bungs and with the aftermarket bumpers I was able to disconnect the whole cage.
You mentioned upgraded exhaust, but never said the name of it or where to get it, can I get a link? Please :)

I am surprised with the skid plate. My 2021 uforce 1000 has a stock skid plate and it’s been really good no holes or anything. I put the Stage 3 clutch kit in mine. I’m actually from WV. Is the ZForce jumpy in low range? The uforce is awful on low.
Not too jumpy at all from the clutch. I really wish ida kept the pics of the skid plate. It was destroyed. I haven't had it out since the new duals and the MSC tune so I'm sure itll be a great surprise when I get there. Gonna be there on the 2nd to the 5th of September. Cant wait.

@@jessedavis7670I've never been to pinnacle... For me, nothing can take the place of bearwallow.. it has all the different trails. . We are doing Hobet mines (outlaw trails ) this time when I go. Im not too familiar with it. In one of our past trips there it had so much of everything and you can break your own trails where ever you please. I like that a lot.
@@sxsoutcast7651 sorry I meant Pocahontas trail system I’m next to. But I can connect to pinnacle which is in Pineville Wv. We have a lot of outlaw trails they call them around us. I think the bearwallow is next to Logan isn’t it?
@@jessedavis7670 Yes. Bearwallow and ivy branch is my favorites. I've done buffalo mountain, devil anse, rock house, bearwallow and ivy branch. I am from logan so it's like going home for me.

I put on mine 32's tires, 2" wheel spacers just like you but i don't like how the steering wheel shakes when I'm riding over 30 or 35mph, what can i do to fix that?

Are your tires balanced? I would consider having them balanced if you haven't already.
Be sure your when spacers are properly torqued and installed correctly...threadlock the mounting bolts too... They can loosen on you so important to check them occasionally...plus like he started... Get the tires balanced....

Its a process getting it on. Mine isn't even close to perfect but it works great to cover up the red which I didn't like.
