The steel drivers “Drinkin Dark Whiskey” is one of my personal favorite whiskey songs, they are Stapleton’s old band, and he actually sang that one too.
I didn't know I liked bluegrass until I found that band! It in turn led me to one of my currently favorite bands The Dead South who also have some great whiskey/drinking songs

I have that same SF Wine Trading Co. bottle. (Floor 4, Warehouse1) It's nice after being open for a while but I wish it was proofier.
How do find "flavors" in whisky.. I just don't understand where flavors would be picked up from aging

I've got a bottle of old Forester single barrel 90 proof in a flatish square rounded edge 750 ml bottle can anybody tell me why the bottle on this one is different than all the others?
It has nothing to do with alcohol but Death's Spirit Crusher is my go to. Really just any Death goes well with Whiskey. A lot of death metal in general too.
I have found with my experience with alcohol I can drink something enjoyable which I drink quickly, enjoy something to drink which takes longer to drink, or experience something to drink with like Daniel a single glass will last 2+ hours because I get lost in experiencing it which is the most enjoyable experience. This can go for beer and wine as well.

So, in this episode, Daniel is explaining how in the movie Silverado, they were making whiskey that Peter Golden would send in for a "review"?
A 750ml bottle lasts me about 3-4 weeks, depending on how shit my week went. I will pour 1 to 1.5oz pours on a normal night, and I let my brain control my hand on a night where I want to pull my hair out. Sometimes I will go 2 weeks without a drink, and those bottles will last longer than others - but generally speaking 3-4 weeks.
