ALL of them are amazing musicians, but they should just RIP Sepultura and make their own music and brand. I truly think the risk is worthwhile, life is too short to keep the past alive. Close the Sepultura chapter and do your own thing. What fans want is the original Sepultura together. Derrick and all other musicians can be part of a massive Sepultura family concert. All of us and our families really want that. This is just my humble opinion. Wish you all the best to everybody! :)

Bullshit. I doubt very much that you've listened to every single song after roots. Where I have, and still currently have every Soulfly album. Newer Sepultura is better than anything Soulfly has released. The last Sepultura album won Album of the year from several metal sites. Where as Soulfly just keep releasing the same boring shit, over and over.

My issue with Soulfly and CC is that I got burned out on Max. Every year there was a new same sounding album from Max from one of his projects. Too many damn Max albums that I just lost any anticipation for them, and just stopped caring. I would have liked CC more if he had a different lead guitarist instead of the one from Soulfly so the bands didn't sound so identical. Plus as much as I loved early Soulfly in the late 90's and early 2000's that whole Nu Metal sound became dated and boring. The last Soulfly album I really liked was Conquer. And I got tired of Max's last chorus writing. I just felt like every chorus was just the title of the song repeated in different ways. Plus Max stopped taking care of himself and let himself get fat and out of shape. He used to have one of the best voices in metal, now he just has have decent studio vocals that feels like he had to use effects on. He sounds out of breath live. If Max would fuck off and just release and album every 2-3 years, so that I actually looked forward to an album, and just had the one band I might have continued to be interested in what he's doing.

Now in 2020 Derrick Green has been the Lead Singer of Sepultura since 1996 so for 24 years. Longer than Max ever was and arguably better.
