For the people worried about moving school, you shouldn't have any problems making friends. As someone who averages more than one move a year, I've found that people are drawn to novelty, and you have about three weeks where they will come to you without you having to do anything. All you have to do is talk to everyone within this window, see who's nice, who it would benefit you most to be friends with, who to avoid, ect, and in the middle of your third week there at the latest, pick a group of friends and stick with them

Omg thank you so much💖💖💖 also I’m not telling u what to do but usually I think it’s better to leave something that’s toxic for you even in you’re afraid and don’t let fear keep you in an unhappy place (if you can’t fix what’s bothering you in that place), you never know what will happen it might actually turn out great. But obviously think about it yourself and only you know your situation best and what’s best for you💖 I also did that and at first I hated it and it was so hard but I was so glad I left my old school because teachers there used to yell at me and everyone was so horrible and mean, I stayed friends with my friends form that school (we’re still best friends to this day), and even though it was hard to transfer I found great people at my new school and was actually in an environment where teachers saw how smart I was and encouraged me, so it really helped me.

I’m starting a new school tomorrow and I’m genuinely tweaking, mainly bc of academics because in my country the first term is already over so half the syllabus is completed 😭 but yeah I’m also scared bc I figure either the kids will be nice about it or I’m gonna get lowkey bullied. Update: so the kids were really nice and friendly to me, this girl gave me and one other new kid a school tour but I still got lost and confused a lot of times today (too much to remember) 😭 I’m making friends kind of, now I just have to be consistent and keep talking
I’m going to a new middle school in a different city in the middle of 7th grade. I’m moving in like a week so I have to switch and I’m scared bruh I worked so hard and made perfect friends just to lose it all!!
@@certified_cheerios yeah moving schools is like a clean slate, you lose everything you had in your old school but at the same time you get a fresh start and can change things up, do things differently. Usually people are pretty interested in the new kid especially when they come in the middle of the year, so as long as you make a good first impression and are just generally friendly and open, I don’t think it’ll be that hard to make new friends (though people might already have their friend groups so it might be a little harder ngl).
