Thanks for your honesty Rob, as you said maybe you should have lit the smoker,, I’ve had some really nasty swarms over the years and found that they are the most productive but horrible to work with, glad your ok 🐝

Hello Robert nice to see that you get on with your step dad and that he is there to offer a helping hand. I have a step ladder it supports me when things in life are hard to reach I never knew my real ladder 🤣
On a more serious note I love how you approach beekeeping, in my opinion it's always a touchy subject among the beekeeping community but I like to think too much of a good thing can be bad for you so why take more honey than you need?
I also think it's natural for bees to swarm it's sad when they leave but there is clearly a reason why they do it and when a new swarm comes your way it's really exciting and it makes me appreciate that natural honey so much more.
I've got to admit every time I hear your theme tune or song it makes me smile for some reason it always fills me with feelings of nostalgia I have no idea why? anyway Please keep your videos coming Rob my whole family enjoys watching them.

That's not how to use a bee brush either, you want to use short fast strokes to knock the bees off, slow strokes roll the bees.

    Oh dear oh dear.
Do yourself a favour ask you doctor for an epi-pen, THIS WEEK!
You’ve now shown a sensitivity to these bees, next might be worse and you might be alone.
Looks like they have a very grumpy temperament, don’t piss around go get an epi-pen.

It is possible you are dealing with Africanized bees. I've learned that once a colony is Africanized they are dangerous, and some say they should be euthanized. Have you heard of bee barns? You can learn about them on the youtube channel called Vino Farms. He's done his research and shares the information. A whole new way of beekeeping you can add to your collection. I love your channel. I find you to be inspirational. I am glad you are okay.

Hi Rob do you offer any in person bee training? Me and my Dad would like an introduction. It would be great if he could see your garden, he's not yet convinced of natural beekeeping, I'm hoping to inspire him. Did your Anastasia hive ever take off? Much respect, Ant

Hi Ant, I've been a bit shorter of time of late but he's welcome to book himself onto a garden tour next year. I've not made any dates available yet but will relatively soon. The log hives have not been all that successful with honeybees so far probably because the wood I used wasn't thick enough. They housed many other creatures though, including various birds, and hornets! 😄

@@robsdiscovery hey its great that you tried, I suppose the variables are different here than in Russia. I think a trip would be nice. I'll look out for your update on this.
