Due to the successes of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Horton Hears a Who, Chuck Jones also did work on this special (although he’s credited as producer and storyboard), so imagine if this would’ve been the end logo because according to some history research, production started at Chuck Jones’ MGM studio, and it was finished by DePatie-Freleng.
This was originally planned by MGM, but due to the box office failure of The Phantom Tollbooth, MGM’s animation studio closed down, so the special was finished by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.
