All the mods to Rolex Sub you mention (no crown guards, big crown, bevels etc.) have been done officially by them already, no?! Tudor Black Bay? They even did a PVD one… And it wouldn’t cost you 30,000 dollars or whatever hehe.
Hey Christian don’t know if you read these, love the channel but have found myself watching less of your content. Partly because Iv had a little girl and not had the time but I do find time to watch other watch content. I’d love you to go back to the old format with Michael. You guys made it fun and interesting and the old studio was a far more pleasing environment with the warm lighting etc. genuine feedback not trolling as your channel used to be one of my favourite.
Fun episode. The answer to your question of what would a Sub look like today if Rolex kept the same design language of classic Subs (bevels, proportions, red triangle, no crown guards) is on my wrist - a Tudor BB58 black/gilt. Cheers!
It's sad to see this channel die. Meeting you briefly in person in Hudson yards I don't think this channel deserves this however you're kinda doing it to yourself. Bring Micheal back
I want either a Kermit (or black sub on an oysterflex) and just wear it everyday-make it my signature daily-and shed no tears over any scratches or gouges in the case…just enjoy the watch and collect the memories and eventually relish in watching my kin beg for a watch that, little do they know, I bought with the intention of one day giving to them
Ok my mind is going blank. What’s the name of the watch company that uses rings to tell the time similar to the ressence? They have hour and minute rings that rotate around. I can’t think of it and it’s driving me insane. Trilobe. I hadn’t had coffee when i commented that
Trilobe make awesome watches, as do Genus too! Also, Hermès made a somewhat similar moving small dials around the main dial too, such as the very impressive Arceau L'Heure De La Lune 🌚
There’s something cool and special about a custom - but most importantly modern - Sub or GMT or Daytona. You’d get all the benefits of modern Rolex tech and capabilities…but side-step the #1 criticism that modern Rolex is banal, unoriginal, common, etc..

You’ve gotta find some more sponsors. I can’t keep hearing the Square Space spiel
nobody wants him, womp womp

Watching this channel die, one agonising video at a time
Christian exploring the [watches] he wouldn't take home to mom.
that tempus sub is exactly why I like the tudor BB more than the sub...
6538 Big Crown?

I'm obsessed with Urwerk. The 100V is one of my grails

there’s also Beaubleu, using rings/circles as hands!
Can you make a list of the best sailing watches?
Definitely make the custom submariner video! Would love to see that!
I would love to see that, buy the 6k sub and start this journey asapp
Those watches are unique in their own way! 🤔👍
I completely agree with you... that would be awesome to watch you customize a sub.. I think that would get a LOT of attention and views
custom sub video would be fun!
Where Theo at tho
love your glasses what brand are they
Where’s Harris…
Get a fishing watch. I have hunting watches.
Where’s Theo?
The customising sub talk reminds me of William Gibson and his custom Sub a decade + ago.
He is a real watch geek and the story behind his sub is fun.
