My Spyder is worth more than its dollar value, its riding expenses and its maintenance costs. Yes, of course those matter when you consider getting into the Spyderverse. But, the benefits are measured in happiness, in wind therapy, in new places seen and discovered, in new friendships and in the pure joy it brings to the soul. Cheers John and Miriam!
How awesome about Mr Williams and that he is still riding! I hope that you both get many many more smiles out of that spyder... Remember, it's smiles per gallon!
Ah, the Blessing of a fun ride!! I was Blessed to be able to take my Spyder out Twice last week! Snowing today. Great channel! And I believe that the Spyder is great for some of us Over the Hill Gang!! Blessings to you guys!!
Definitely worth it! I switched from a Tri-Glide to a 2020 Spyder RTL back in September and am loving it. Your channel was a big part of my research process in making my decision! So thank you. Enjoy it so much I revamped my channel again too. Thanks for all the great. videos and stories 😃
Happy birthday John in a non celebrating way. Since we haul our Spyder around in our camper as a fulltime RVer. It is definitely worth it every chance we get to ride it around this beautiful country.
So glad you guys got out for a ride! Miriam you were supposed to be working towards retirement, not increasing your hours. I'm just kidding! I'm sure those ladies love you! Opal sounds like such a beautiful person... Sorry you are no longer celebrating birthdays, john! May I please have the frosting off your cake 😂
It's definitely worth it .I actually brought my Spyder rt limited because of you guys when you broke down coming out of Tulsa .i was looking for a bike and you two popped up on U-Tube .your trip coming through Oklahoma it was something about that time and seeing that bike was a eye opener for the wife and I.we look around Tulsa and at the place you got your bike fixed.but we ended up getting a Can-Am from OKC a few weeks after you posted your trip on your breakdown.but I'm glad you guys got it running.your bad day was a good time for us to get one to ride together.it brought us together more.now the wife wants to ride all the time everywhere even just going to Walmart.what was a bad day for you guys was a blessing for us to see you two just smiling and appreciated each other's doing that time.one other things we rode to Mt Scott a city in Lawton.ok the country roads of course with other friends and its been amazing but the thing is the wife have fell asleep our bike a couple of times coming home to our town of Chickasha,ok .She said it so smooth and relaxing with the jazz music playing we had playing .I thought she was bored but she said it was just nice she only done that twice but the good thing is she not going to fall off the way the RT limited is built she's safe I just appreciate you two and may GOD bless you drive safe and thank you guys.
Love reading this! You know, for us being stuck in Tulsa was also a blessing because it afforded us more opportunities to connect with the local spider riders club (Broken Arrow) and it gave us more time to explore the cool museums found in Tulsa. As John says, the adventure begins when the plan falls apart!
I'm obviously biased, but I most certainly agree that the Spyder is worth the investment. The people I've met, and friendships made, are priceless. I have not yet met Bill Williams, but he is living proof that a Spyder is worth it 👊😁👍
Hi John and Miriam, nice ryde for breakfast. Smart turn around John, don’t think I want to know if the Spyder floats either 😅 Hope you have a great Birthday and get to ryde to lunch. Ryde safe and God Bless
Having been a pilot and an owner of a plane I can make a couple of observations I am sorry that your good wife didn’t feel she could go with you as much The Spyder takes me places the airplane could not and was a load cheaper to do so even though my aircraft was a homebuilt so was cheaper to maintain Now although the government has deemed me to be unable to fly for health reasons I can still get out and enjoy the Spyder. For many more miles of smiles!
I would be willing to fly…meant to say the expense would be prohibitive and limit our outings. One of my life’s desires is to be up in the air with John piloting.
Well said John concerning the 'worth of the Spyder'. My 20 RTL sits way too much in the garage, but we ride some better and that's better than none, keeps me from thinking about selling. At some point in life brief thoughts turn to mortality, riding the Spyder makes those thoughts disappear. Keep up the good You Tube job.
Morning. You two are wise because of life's challenges and mostly because you paid attention to what life was trying to tell ya. Is the spyder worth it? Is spending money and time on any pleasure seeking machine with it? It's entirely up to the person. I'm glad we have choices. It's great seeing you two on video. Can't wait till the weather up here warms up and back yard drys out to get ours out. We'll. Have yourselves a wonderful day. Later then.
You two are very wise in my view. Air Force vet here too. '77-'81. Rhein Main AB, then Barksdale AFB. I was also a private pilot too out of Boonville, MO. Been thinking a lot about the Spyder. The cost is a bit scary. You put some great perspective on it though.
Always a good way to enjoy my morning coffee, a video with John and Miriam. Lol. We are also ready for Maggie Valley. We will be ready for Skyline Drive when the Logde opens. Thinking about Spyder Quest in September also. Probably going to be a busy fall.
Smart turnaround John 🙄 "I don't want to find out if the Spyder floats" 🤔😅 Even though BRP also makes the Sea-Doo and the Ski-Doo... they didn't use the name "Spyder-Doo". 😁🤣
I'll be down the Maggie valley area in July on my roadtrip then hitting the VAMM24 meetup in Tazewell. I don't think I can get back down in October for that spyder meetup. going on these trips and meeting people is the best part of owning a Can Am. I do think the dealer service needs to be better, but it is what it is right now.
20 years in Army uniform and 25 years as an Army civilian. Assignments in uniform in Eritrea (2), Turkey (2), CA and MA, and Germany. Worldwide as a civilian. The Spyder is definitely worth it.
Love watching your videos my wife and I do the same thing we go and have a lunch at the lake alot we are both retired now and want to start traveling on our spyder as well
Understand your service i spent 21 years US Army active duty got out in 92 and at 71 I would go back in without thought just to instruct new soldiers at school I am not up to front line duty after 4 strokes I've had to slow down some but recruiters won't touch me with I under stand but I could still teach my Mos to the new soldiers equipment may have changed but not procedure
Hi John Miriam good question is the can am Spyder worth it. That is a good debate personally I think it is because the different types of therapy it gives, No different than going fishing hiking through the mountains going on that Sunday ride with your wife or your partner so in my View a can am Spyder is worth more than just money. So I agree with what you say, keep up the good work and I'm trying to catch up with your videos I have missed out on.
I bet that squirrel was taking that blossom to his new girlfriend. Motos aren't cheap now days. I've owned 17 so I know. Recently I've purchased 2 Royal Enfields. Great bikes that are surprisingly well built and affordable. Looking forward to tour on them this year. Ride them while you can. Life is short.!!! 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
Whoa! Not celebrating birthdays? Just remember one important thing. Birthdays are good for you. The more of them you have, the longer you live! Last thing, if you’re 65 years old, how many birthdays have you had?
The Spyder was/is absolutely worth it. We bought our 2020RTL in January of 2021. To me, it was an island of comfort and relaxation. Instead of sitting around due to Covid, we rode almost every weekend for nearly 2 years. Like John, I would have the excitement like a little kid preparing to ride. I need to get back to riding more. It really is therapy for the mind and soul. Looking forward to seeing the two of you this summer.
I knew our days riding 2-up on our Honda and then Harley were limited. But not on the Spyder. With power steering, paddle shifting and no chance of tipping over I don't see why we can't ride it until we can't pass the vision test at the MVD!
We bought a 2022 RT limited..at 3000 miles we had 2 motors 3 oil leaks and 5 coolant leaks..went back to Harley. Customer service was horrible at Can Am. On the 5th coolant leak and they told me to bring it back again i was done .
I love and look forward to your videos but PLEASE, don’t use Miriam’s video. I actually got motion sickness from this episode and have come close on others with video from her camera. I love her commentary but….Yikes, help a fellow out….Stabilize! BTW, we feel the same about our 2020 Spyder RTL. I absolutely love each and every ride on ours and know it’s going to extend our “in-the-wind” “fresh air” therapy sessions opportunities by years. Like you guys, we also picked up the Freedom Trailer. I sold a 13 BMW K1600 GTL and a 2003 Goldwing and transitioned to the Spyder. I still have a HD Road King that has not been ridden since our Spyder arrived. It’s got sentimental value but it’s gonna have to go at some point. I need the garage space. The Spyder was absolutely worth it and I’d do it all again if I had to. Stay safe and enjoy! 👍🏼👍🏼
We rode from our home in suburban Virginia Beach to the southernmost point of VB which borders NC. This rural area is referred to as Pungo, but it is within the city limits of VB.
Always like ur clips, but this time with the clip coming from Miriams cam. I get sick from all the movements and unfortunately, I'll stop. I'll still come back for ur clips as I normally do enjoy. Hope u can change that for future clips
We are so sorry. I have “neck issues” from arthritis. It’s also a challenge bc we can’t see what we are filming until after the fact. We will strive to do better though!! Don’t want to make anyone motion sick!!
My Spyder is worth more than its dollar value, its riding expenses and its maintenance costs. Yes, of course those matter when you consider getting into the Spyderverse. Well said as always, Richard! ❤
How awesome about Mr Williams and that he is still riding! I hope that you both get many many more smiles out of that spyder... Remember, it's smiles per gallon!
love ur yt channel and adventures especially Alaska 💜👍🏽
@@victory017t3 thank you so much!! Really appreciate that! I have a few more Alaska videos to put out yet. 💜😂 Working on it!!
Love the thought of “smiles per gallon”!
It's a beautiful thing when your very , very best friend your wife is enthusiastic to do what you love to do as a couple.
Ah, the Blessing of a fun ride!! I was Blessed to be able to take my Spyder out Twice last week! Snowing today.

Thank you for your service. I am also a vet and retired Army. Great watching you all. Ready to get back on the road. 2012 Blue Goldwing.
Happy birthday John in a non celebrating way. Since we haul our Spyder around in our camper as a fulltime RVer. It is definitely worth it every chance we get to ride it around this beautiful country.
love ur yt channel 💚
John loved your happy bday message. We were out for lunch!

I'm obviously biased, but I most certainly agree that the Spyder is worth the investment. The people I've met, and friendships made, are priceless. I have not yet met Bill Williams, but he is living proof that a Spyder is worth it 👊😁👍
Amen to all that, Wayne
@PurpleOnThree 😊🤗😁

Ryde safe and God Bless
Really looking forward to seeing you both at Maggie valley! Hope you have a wonderful time in key west!
Yayyyy !!! 😁🤗

I have put the Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures event on my calendar for 2024, where I hope to meet a couple of Spyder legends 😁👍
We cannot wait, Wayne! ❤

That’s a good kind of busy! ❤
My ‘20 RTL is my primary means of transportation and it’s worth it.
a Spyder WILL FLOAT!!!!! Trust me John~~~
Absolutely 😎 I’ve had three……… 2014 RT, 2015 F3S and a 2019 F3 Limited!! The 15 and 19 I had together😎😎
This past October I picked up a 2014 ST Limited. Can't wait to get it out and have some fun.
Good video guys thanks for sharing the ride with us lots of water on the roads for take care have a great weekend and hope you had a great Birthday
Expensive sure, worth it …Yes! 👍

Yes!! Meeting people is the best part!
I've been enjoying riding on our good weather days in the Stafford area.
Hope you could get out this weekend, Paul! And hope March is not in like a lamb, out like a lion this year. Was so pretty here today (Sunday).
John said "I'm turning around" 😂 I agree-We don't want a Wolf Creek Pass repeat.
He does try to kill me at least once a year…but fortunately not to the level of wolf creek pass!! hope we never top that one! 😅
Thank you for your service.
I would agree with you on the is it worth it perspective!!!
20 years in Army uniform and 25 years as an Army civilian. Assignments in uniform in Eritrea (2), Turkey (2), CA and MA, and Germany. Worldwide as a civilian. The Spyder is definitely worth it.
Sandbridge is a great place to ride. We enjoy your videos ❤
Love watching your videos my wife and I do the same thing we go and have a lunch at the lake alot we are both retired now and want to start traveling on our spyder as well
The fun level with the Spyder is the best! Can’t be beat with anything.
Very nice video
We are going to go to the Ohio Spyder Rally this year and we are going to try to go to the Maggie Valley this year.
Keep us posted. We would love to see you two again! Fingers crossed for Maggie Valley.

You are probably right about the squirrel! Who could resist a blossom bearing mate?

That water did look a little deep

hope to see you in maggie valley . we should be going

Oh no!
Can Ams track record for dealing with issues like these is terrible.. sorry you had to go through that.
@BlackphoenixEntertainment we liked the product but you can only take so much. We lost about $10000 after down payment and trade in loss
Good stuff
Hey John, can you tell me how you attached your Ram phone holder to the handlebar? I like how you have it on the wide part next to the GPS.
Nice video. I like the new Revit jacket. Could you share the "model number" of your jacket so I can read ore about it?
Its a 2022 item, its mesh for warm weather riding,, can not find a model number! Sorry
I was a Vietnam Air Force vet.
The cost per hour compared to my RV6A airplane is near zero. And I can just run out to the garage and go fly my spyder. I wish I could have kept both.
I love and look forward to your videos but PLEASE, don’t use Miriam’s video. I actually got motion sickness from this episode and have come close on others with video from her camera. I love her commentary but….Yikes, help a fellow out….Stabilize!

Nice truck!
I am also a airforce vet. CCT. Does can am have a veteran program
Where are you riding in this video? Virginia? The Carolina’s? Are you traveling or just riding around the neighborhood?
We rode from our home in suburban Virginia Beach to the southernmost point of VB which borders NC. This rural area is referred to as Pungo, but it is within the city limits of VB.
Thank you, Myriam. Beautiful country, even if it was liquid sunshine that day lol I love Virginia.
Please and Thank you

Keeping your Spyder on a battery tender all the time will hide a bad or weak battery.
Hi your helmet its HJC what numbers.
lol. Go Air Force. 😀😀
Lost a bit of respect there. You know how high your intake is... not trying to push. Just saying bud.
. What a big POS add 1 for 1 week. Steering was so sensitive that tried to catapult me off. The machine traded it in after 1 week.
Please don't show any more videos taken by your wife. This constant left and right is making me dizzy!
