Hey Baradul, I was the Cougar-H in the second match. That was one hell of a comeback from a 1 to 4 start. Im alway happy to play with you or against you.😁
I prefer the regular clan ACs over the ultras for the most part. They never jam. They are cooler. They fire fewer projectiles which gives them more pinpoint accuracy, and they usually have a better HSL. Although, when I get that legendary Rhino, I will have to do at least a few games with 8 UAC5s just for fun. ☺ Keep up the good work! Always enjoy the videos.
IIRC, jam duration is the jam time for the particular UAC + cooldown of the weapon, so UACs do get a benefit from the cooldown quirks still. It's basically a tradeoff between more consistent dps vs periodically higher burst dps. The regular AC20s are some less face time as well, which is nice with the pulse lasers.
As always, thank you for your time and commitment to the Mech gaming platform MWO is my favorite but all your videos are awesome.. by the way, I really liked the shorts you did about the mix and highlighting capabilities
Haven't played in years but still live to watch you videos. Not sure if it's still viable but I used to like to run a Kodiak with 4 ac10 on chain fire. Even though it said firing 4 ac10 would give ghost heat it was a very manageable alpha that only generated about 40% heat so you could do it 2 or 3 times in a row if you had to. I called it my rac 20 because the cool down of the 4 ac10 on chain fire line up perfectly for non stop fire. And since it was clan ac10 each ac shot 3 bullets chained which really made it seem like you were running a rac 20 that never jammed.
Thanks for the years of great videos. Can you assemble a long form of videos of Mech warriors online content thank one can binge watch/ listen to . I I keep watching you each day. When at work I do enjoy listening to your game play. I would live a longer version of you videos to fill my joy of your games. Not being able to have it run nonstop while working, I cry. Bing videos is only a request for the joy of bing watching your game play. Your YT shorts in a long form would be soooo cool also. Your short YT is really cool. If Game Producers could hear you voice in you YT shorts videos, you sound really cool. Would enjoy your cameo in a mech game in an English version.
I know it's a big ask but back in July CriticalRockets group lost Davros Dalek and the last 10 years have had a lot of good moments watching both your channels and twitch streams. I know you're not a big meme Mech buddy guy and you probably already have videos ready for upload until years end but if you could possibly make a Thunder Chicken or AC 20 Raven short, the guys are planning on a MWO stream on December 15 and they haven't done one in years it's not going to be group drops just general shenanigans. Thanks if you can but if you can't understandable.
Been having an itch for stompy mech combat. How is MWO these days? Last I played was probably 2016`ish. Is it worth getting back into MWO or look at MW5 series instead? Windows 10 and good performance/graphics are what I am looking at I guess. - Thanks in advance!
IMO MWO has better combat than MW5, but if you like the management and sandbox elements of Battletech, MW5 has a lot of that. It wasn't my cup of tea. Also, MWO has added a lot of updates, maps, weapons, and mechs in just the last year or two. It's a great time to jump back in.
Did Clan AC20 has a role in this game anymore? I tryed the HAG20 and seem to me it surclass AC, UAC and LBX. 😐 Less tons, less slot, 0.5 sec more cooldown but double the speed for the projectiles and comparable heat. Even the gauss seem obsolete, HAGS cost 2 tons less and for a noob 4 projectiles are better than one, you have more chanches to hit somethings at distance..
I think that the HAGs have more damage overall but less damage per projectile. I can’t remember off the top of my head exactly, but let’s say a gauss does 15/shot and the HAGs do 20/shot. That’s assuming you hit your shots on the HAGs cause it’s basically like having an auto-gauss. The max damage only applies if all the shots hit-not that it matters cause I’m pretty sure HAGs get more ammo/ton than normal gauss Edit:I think it’s like 5/projectile, and the HAGs fire 4,6, and 8 respectively
@@bungus5774 You're right, but you have also to think that gauss shots only one shot, so hit or miss, while the HAG have multiple instances to hit a target behaving more like a pulse laser in this sense. IMHO It's good for noobs (like me) to hit moving targets, but on the other hand I don't see any drawback in using it compared to ACs. I think it has to be reworked in a way to do less damage in short range and optimal damage in medium-long range (if the devs objective is to make a sniper weapon of it), otherwise there is no incentive to use other weapons or pair some short range backup.
@@brambillafumagalli8122 I think the only drawback in using HAGs is that they build up more heat than the gauss(I think?), otherwise they’re better in every way in terms of DPS in pretty much any range except mile-long shots. I agree with that they should probably make it slightly worse in close range(kind of like how normal PPCs work) so that they get used more like actual snipers instead of the any range burst damage weapons they are now. Still fun to whack a light mech in the CT with a dual burst of HAG 30s though lol
I don't think you can fit IS weapons on clan mechs, or clan weapons on IS mechs, is the thing. Which is somewhat a good thing, as it gives reason to use IS mechs for some things specifically.
@@FunkThompsonlike the newly buffed RAC 2s/5s! That kinda still feel slightly underpowered compared to their UAC or even AC counterparts but hey I can’t say no to more dakka!
@@bungus5774 They were not buffed their fire rate was increased and their dmg was decreased so that the dps would stay the same the reasoning was to stop racro which if you do not know that is using a macro to greatly increase the fire rate of racs.
@@LavaDa1shi really? I didn’t even think that was a thing Still feels more like a buff. I mean, having a higher fire rate and 100+ extra rounds per ton sounds like a buff to me!
@@bungus5774 It kind of is a buff because I am pretty sure it now causes greater screen shake then before, and causes more critical hits then before. But since the damage per round was lowered the ammo and damage per second is basically the same as it was before the only thing improved is screen shake and crits.
@@Artificer1911 Yes, exactly. He actually commented on one of my comments when I said I was having trouble with one of his builds. He just said Im probably playing it wrong. Bro Im a founder, been playing since day one, literally. I know how to play.

Both fights were some of the best I've seen a quite a while. Both teams were really into the games.
Excellent content Baradul never a disappointment!!!😊

In my experience the ultras also always seem to jam when I REALLY DON'T WANT THEM TO as well.
Tried this build. First game, 1250 damage, 2 Kills 8 Assists, 4KMDD. I'm liking it.

I'm loving this return to MWO content. It's made me turn back on your notifications. Thanks!
Your first game was against TTB! What a great match!
Never stop playing MWO, bro. Love this content!
Warhammer IIC and @Baradul combined to make for a very happy Wednesday for me.

The look of that Warhammer is absolutely brilliant.
Great video!
i love that unique mech designs as we will see on the Free Comando this month and then Onyx.
I'm looking forward to putting 3 LPPC on the Commando. All down the center line.
Here for the vids and comments.
Also for valuable advice: positioning, team cohesion and being active.
Never played the game though 😂
Two great bouts in one episode! Exciting!
I never understood the AC20 hate, I love it
I really enjoy my 2 x lbx-20 Whammer. I need to try an AC20 build.
its good to see some other builds then Meta
THanks for the video.
warhammer IIC, one of favorit mech in Mechzwarior
Goddamn that was a great two matches, exactly what I think we wish we got to see more in MWO. Both were down to the wire with big turnarounds.
Doomnipple IIC
That second game was pretty great!
"Team damage is also damage!" lol 🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I'd love to see you play this with twin HAG40's 😆🤘🏻
Always love your MWO content, keep it coming 🙏🏻
two comebacks! great episode
Proper Dakka there..!!
Dual HAG 40s is all I run on the Maul but I'll try this build out
What about 2 HAG 20. They weigh 2 tons less per weapon. And do 20 points of potential damage.
Great aim!
