Yay for 600 miles! Every time the topic of teaching/coaching comes up in your videos, the phrase, ‘hiking coach’ comes to mind. Not sure whether such a thing exists, but you might think about it when this hike is completed. Having retired from teaching at age 62 also (long ago), I can tell you that it is in your blood, will never leave you, & will seek expression one way or another. Happy trail!

Good morning, Carrie. Great video. You have really picked up your miles. That's great. You'll enjoy your slack pack tomorrow. One thing - when you have the camera pointed at the trail in front of you toward the trail, it is very hard to hear you when you're talking. Congrats on the 600 miles! That doesn't look like Chicken of the Woods to me but this video is shrunk for some reason and it's hard to see. Chicken will be more yellow/orange with its very short stem coming out the back rather than going down like a trunk. They usually grow in layers of shelves.
