Clarinet is the most underrated instrument, let’s go clarinet gang
As a player I hate when people says it sucks.
This is one of the hardest to master and the song is nice.
And playing it is a pleasure. When you push the key behind and change from acid to basic.
(I do not speak english very well).

Aw goodness the bass clarinets sound is so close to my heart. Im in love in that instruments ability to hit so high while keeping just as low. Its been 15 years since i last heard this sound in person and im still remembering it in my dreams.

This group has inspired me to walk around and play on the street making up melodies as I go. Im not as good as I was and have to go to a park to practice. And getting the high notes is harder now I have no top teeth. But fuck it. The world once had a lot of clarinetists. The world was happier during the big band and woodwind jazz era imo. Put the music into the world.
I took clarinet lessons for a short time when I was in the 4th grade. These videos are making me consider learning again.

Thelønewolfz aj Of t depends, if there are already bassoons in your band then don't switch, but if there aren't then don't. And if you are just playing by yourself then it doesn't matter.
the bassoon type clarinet is called a base clarinet (Im not correcting you, i was just saying)

Hey Four Play clarinet, what reeds and what clarinets do yall use? Oh and how do you make your legato notes so good?
Richy Bob Hey there! Our setups have changed a little since this was filmed, but in the video, Gaby is playing on a Buffet R13 on Vandoren Traditional Reeds (3.5). Rani is playing on a Buffet Festival with Grand Concert Evolution Reeds (3.5), Dwayne is playing a Buffet Bass Clarinet with Vandoren Traditional reeds (3 or 3.5, I think), and Claire is playing on a Selmer Prestige with , but she's changed her clarinets and reeds since then (you'll see that in the newest music video coming soon 😉).

I just realized that the clarinets ligatures are backwards, the screws are supposed to be on the front of the reed.
ErinRachel ya I noticed that too how come they did that?
Some ligatures are design to go the other way around, it is also possible to just turn it.

Some nice sounds, and a good arrangement - but why is the rhythmic element at a lower level of professionalism than the strong video production? It's a bit sloppy for something that's really all about rhythmic precision. Some minor intonation issues too. I think you should raise your collective game in these areas if you aspire to go pro. Keep working!

shoes maybe it's a reed issue or your mouth just isn't strong enough.
Just keep sure you're covering the holes all the way and keep your mouth pretty firm but most of all just keep practicing
