Thank you , could you give me advice to begin designing,I need your help, I can sketch these but I dont have any information about measurement and mechanism of this sculpture. Do you know any book, article , internet bloggs about this topic ?
Hi Sandal. Thanks for your comment. We are ready to help you, but I'm not sure which you have the most difficulty at any stage. I guess you would like to know the operating principle of kinetic sculpture. It is based on the transformation from energy of potential to kinetic energy. I honestly advise you not to start the drawing design. You do it manually, don't need to look at the shape, choose a transmission structor and make the product. Then you increase the time of movement and simplify the actuator. Finally, you design your drawing. If you don't mind, please provide more your information. Good luck.
Việt Lê Việt Lê,I'm grateful for your reply,Actually you guessed right , I only trying to understand mechanism and movement of kinetic sculpture .Thank you again.
Hi Sandal. Thank you. I think you should start making a kinetic sculpture for yourself. If you have passion, let's start now. In the process you make if there are specific obstacles we will help you. Now, I don't know what to do to help you more. Before, we started, we did not know where to find information. We started experimenting, experimenting and experimenting for a long time. You can refer to our website: www.kiswood.com. We apologize for not helping you, wish you success.
Hi 李昊 Your question is not clear and I can not reply specifically. For more details, you can view other products on my website : www.kiswood.com/ My email: levietctm@gmail.com or dkdphuongdong.info@gmail.com Good luck
Hey this is beautiful. I know to use solid works and I have a background in design so I could design myself some nice sculptures but I don't understand how to make one layer rotate clockwise and the other anticlockwise? Would you be able to explain how this is done? Or refer to me to an article or website that can help me to understand the mechanism? I would appreciate that
Hi Peter Louis. Thank you for your interest in our design. To create the rotation motion in solidworks you go to the "motion study" section or you can refer to youtube with the search keyword "motion study in solidworks". Good luck.
I'm very keen to learn and understand kinetic sculptures. Do conduct training? Where are you based? I would come down to train. Thanks and Regards. Bonnie
Hi Bonnie Ghosh We are glad to know you also love the kinetic sculpture. We only produce and do not train on dynamic sculpture. Kinetic sculpture works on the principle of dynamics. If you want to create a kinetic sculpture, you need some knowledge of mechanical engineering. I advise you to start right away and in the process, if you have any problems, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. We are in Vietnam, you can contact us by email: dkdphuongdong.info@gmail.com Good luck Le Viet.
Hi Irene Torres. Of course we have springs. You can overcome this with a heavy object. Typically, the spring is activated by inside wing. When it rotates full inertia, it reverses rotation and acts on parking pawl that holds the springs. I think, you should first study some products like this: ruclips.net/video/7YJ-qyO7j4w/видео.html Good luck. Le Viet.
Hi Juan Bautista Biscione The spring transmission for the inside wing, after each cycle it reverses and transmission for the outside wing through the one-way actuator. If you have any other questions please contact us at: dkdphuongdong.info@gmail.com Le Viet
hi,would you tell me about the mechanism works? I can't understand how to rotate both of the gear with winding a spring
thanks
Can you provide detailed assembly methods and parts?
Thank you for your reply. I definitely find your sculptures breath taking! Thank you

I'd like to see how he generates momentum. Do you have a mailbox? Thank you

Do you have a spring in pawl. I am at this point in my design but don't know how that works. What is triggering the torque spring?

Onde baixo esses projetos em português?
great demonstration, can you help me a little bit more to understand how the opposite move is generated between the to shapes?
Hi Juan Bautista Biscione
The spring transmission for the inside wing, after each cycle it reverses and transmission for the outside wing through the one-way actuator.
