Screw the judges for not liking rock performances, the only voice show that prefers rock performances is The Voice AU, because joel is on it. Now Will has to deal with the bust on the last contestant bc he let this one go hahaha
I feel extremely sorry for this guy! This coaches really shitted the last day of blind auditions!

I enjoyed this performance enormously. Matt gave this everything, but whilst he has a great voice for fronting a band, he didn't show the kind of versatility and technique a show like this demands. He has a strong lower voice but this time at least he didn't handle the split into upper voice well at all, and then showed what a bad choice it was by pushing his lower voice through beyond the upper! Again, I have to say that here I don't hear the pitching issues I heard on the TV broadcast. A great effort, a great performance, but another rock singer bites the UK Voice dust.

If you notice such a difference, I think you need better speakers or earplugs/phones. ;)
I'm sorry but what do you mean by versatility that this show demands?He is singing up to the freaking High D what kind of techqnique would he require to get through. Most of the guys they have on the show would sound like strungled cats if they tried those high notes? And also what lower voice? This guy is a tenor and didn't even touch his lower register. This is a song where you tessitura almost always stays at it's top.

This season was just not meant for rockers to be picked.. So many who deserved turns over those picked
only watched this cos he is called matt baker ((same name as my fave)) but turns out he is pretty good at singing
On almost every show so far, the best performance has failed to get any support.
This guy was 10 times better than at least two other acts.

He should've gone to the U.S. to do an audition there. He would more likely make it because these 4 judges obviously don't know what true talent is
He's better than some of the acts that gone through probably just because they attended the earlier auditions :/

We seriously need a more diverse group of judges next season..(For all the Voices) Seriously and maybe more than 4 judges. 1 for rock, 1 for pop, 1 for country, 1 for R&B/Jazz, and one just in general maybe a producer/MC or some shit.. Don't get me wrong I enjoy seeing them return but we need to rotate all the judges instead of 1 or 2.

He can sing much higher than almost everyone on this show and they didn't get him through. Isn't it obvious that they have an agenda against rock music?
I think judges don't want great and dynamic singers in their team. I hope I wont fall asleep by watching this season.
And this is a great example why I hate the voice and X factor if you sing a song that isn't in the genre of pop like a rock song, metal song, opera song they just hate on you or in the case of the voice they don't turn around.
What is happening in the voice? A lot of the great blind auditions are just get wasted. I think there's something wrong. Maybe the management tells the coaches to not turn their chair immediately to lengthen the show. And maybe blind auditions are their highest ratings compared to their live shows. Well, business is business here. So sad for the other who deserve to be in the show.
I 100% could not be a judge on the voice...once i saw that vest I had to call shaman's to resurrect my body. ugh what is with these people and wearing vests....idk i hate them personally. HOWEVER he sang well :) that's what matters

What is it with all these Matts rocking? Wrong song choice, I think. It was nothing special to me up to the end which was kinda cool. More of that, somehow. Overall a tad screechy. It's the moving around, I get it. Always hard to pull off both. Besides, don't do straight-up rock on this show if you can avoid it...
Again, the coaches were half-deaf. No wonder UK music is way way behind the US. The existing superstars also couldn't identify the new talents. Judges, u guys got the wrong job
I've watched all of "The Voice UK" blind auditions and honestly this was the worst and most pathetic season yet!! Please learn from The Voice US and Australia... You let go of ALOT of tremendous talent all because you forgot you are supposed to be coaches and it's called "the voice"... Stop playing a game and focus on the voice!!! This "you weren't what I need", or "I wouldn't know what to do with you", or even "I was lost and pressed to late".... REALLY??!! Please CHANGE THE COACHES I'M DONE!!
