yes they did for video, and sometimes to lift the shadows in photo too. Plenty of light. The only thing is that they give an ugly reflection ring on shiny subjects or in eyes. Best used for non-reflective subjects, but very useful
Amazing review, man! I have the Laowa 24mm probe but thinking of going for the freshly released Astrhori 28mm f13 90 degree + direct view combo and sell my Laowa, despite having a slight advantage in sharpness and picture quality from reviews I've seen. Subscribed! Next time upload the video in 4K ;)
Thks a lot ! I have not used the Laowa but this AstrHori model has far exceeded my expectations in terms of sharpness and ergonomy. I think it is also a matter of best focus practice as I explain. And yes I'll try to go up to 1440 in upcoming videos, 4K might be a bit too heavy
@@rivieramacro5240 You can export them in 4K just for youtube.Even if you shoot in 1080p. 1080p isn't bad and looks brilliant in 4K but youtube destroys videos so it's better upload them in 4K to reserve the most out of them.
Likely the same in terms of optical quality, Since the sensor size would be smaller than APS-C no problem using this lens I believe. Not sure whether it is offered in M4/3 mount, check the web site
@@rivieramacro5240 :: there are adapters - when I save up some money, i will will try it. Thank you for the comprehensive video and sharing your beautiful images!! Very inspiring!!
Enfin... je l attendais cette revue!
4 mois de tests terrain... SI tu as des questions on en parlera a Montier
Super interesting. Were the led lights enough illumination?

Look great man!!! Thanks for the review. If you could in the future upload more videos in 4k. Those images Look great!
thks. 4K video are too heavy, but the filming is done in 4K and downsampled to Full HD for better quality, better than FHD direct

Interesting - what would the results be with a MFT camera?

What F stop were you shooting at ?
Hi ! Not sure but usually f8 or f11 to avoid strong diffraction and get best sharpness. f11 on this lens is a good starting point
Not again 🥱🥱🥱
