Gardner Engines and the effect of flat batteries.

Why are flat batteries such a bad idea? Surely a flat batter, with low voltage, can do no damage to a Gardner Engine's starter?
The opposite is true and here we take a look at why this is the case.

Thank you. I've learned that a starter can have less resistance than a gnome. Every Gardner should have a gnome.

Voltages are not "generated". Currents - amperages - are. And it takes a LITTLE more than just "waving" a "magnet" past a "wire".

Joe, do you have any opinion on running Shell GTL fuel in Gardner LWs? Any change of o-ring leakages perhaps?

The low voltage also greatly increase current. A 4kw motor alway will draw 4kw wether its at 13volts or 8volts just more amps

That's only because of the phenomenon described in the video. A purely resistive load will have its current drop along with the voltage, such that the power drops with the square of the voltage.
