This story documents my 2023 FALL BEAR HUNT IN ARIZONA. I'm joined by my buddy Brian, who is a newer BEAR HUNTER. In the end, I come face to face with the lasting imprint BEAR HUNTING left on me long ago, as well as see the light in Brian's eyes grow brighter along his own journey as a BEAR HUNTER. I've been hunting the fall for bear in AZ for 20 years. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Get a lot of good scouting in for deer/elk but no bears. I did learn a thing or two from this video though, thank you.
It can be real tough with the bears in AZ. Keep after it. It's all about the food with them.

Such beautiful country and a great time to be in it. I can see why it has left an Imprint on both of you.
My wife wants me to get a bear 🐻 soon. She said it would be cool to have a bear 🐻 rug or throw and try the meat 🍖 🥩. I definitely got goosebumps from excitement and just thinking about the opportunity and adventure. I have never been bear 🐻 hunting here in the east or out west. Hopefully I will get to soon.
