Thanks for a great video Andy. I like the fact that your images are very genuine, without all the tricks & enhancements that can be added post production !. My favourite shot was Into The mist. It looked lovely in 4K. Look forward to the next one 👍
Massive thanks Robert and I’m so glad you like my approach as I set up the channel to primarily share images (editing has never been my strong point 🤣). I found it quite hard to pick a favourite from the days shoot as the conditions were just so nice
К черту деревню, природа великолепна!!! Не предполагал, что деревья могут настолько подходить в качестве объектов для фотографирования. Сказочные яркие фотографии депрессивного места. Великолепно! Спасибо большое за урок, Энди!
Oh, thanks for your interest. I'm a very humble little hobbyist who just started to understand the buttons on the camera. But I watch your videos, Andy, and learn, learn... I’ve already started to like some things myself. Now it’s just a matter of small things so that not only me likes my photos :)))
Snowy photography is something I lack experience as I live in a city with none of it 😂 that location gives off such a vibe though! The mist gives the snow surroundings some eerie feel and trees the separation. First pic of the first gallery is something Id put on a wall. And loved the composition of just the tree trunks. Saw your reply on Joris’ video 😂 nice to meet you and great work Andy! New sub.
Massive thanks for your kind words 🙏😊 snow can be really tricky and I think the secret is to ignore the camera metering as it will always try to meter to grey, so needs over exposing to get it white. Hopefully you can give it a go if you get a bit in a park or open space
That little dusting of snow is just about perfect. I think my favorite images are the 1st one in that first gallery and the next to last image in your last gallery. Not to dismiss the others, but they just speak to me more.
Many thanks Craig 🙏😊 that’s what I love about photography in that everyone can find their own favourites 👍 I found it tricky to pick a favourite from the days shoot as the conditions on the day were amazing
Great photos. Love the autumn colors with the snow. You are absolutely right, we know how a tree looks so we can just shoot a part of it. Gonna try this too 😁 love the “panorama” photos of the tree trunks.
😊 Beautiful images Andy !! Sorry about you dropping your 90D into the river ! It's a camera i am thinking about getting later on this spring!! But i also looked at the R10 and your R7 too! R7 is way out of my budget but i m update from my 1100D
Many thanks for your kind words. Your shortlist is an excellent one and the 90D is an awesome camera. Either will be a great upgrade from the 1000D and I don’t think you could go wrong with either. You’ll need an ef to rf lens adapter for the r10 for your existing ef lenses
Many thanks Jarrid. I’m not finding any difference in sharpness between the 18-135 ef and 18-150 ef but the rf lens does seem to focus quicker (instantly) so I’m looking forward to trying it with some wildlife soon. I’ve noticed a little less noise in the images but I think that’s the sensor in the r7 rather than the lenses
@@AndyHPhotography Thanks Andy this helps a lot I’ve been using the 18-135 on my R10 and have been wondering if the upgrade would be worth it. I agree there seems to be less noise with the new sensor.

It is amazing in the right conditions

🤣 trees are awesome to photograph at any time of year. I’m intrigued to see how you get on so please keep me posted on how you get on with your images

Massive thanks Joris. I was really lucky to get snow mist and the last colours of autumn. Let me know how you get on with the tree shots 👍

Great video Andy it’s a beautiful area
Do you find any difference in image quality or sharpness between the EF-S to RF-S lenses
Many thanks Jarrid.

Great shots but did you handhold all those at such low shutter speeds?
Thank you. They were all tripod mounted 👍
Sorry I just noticed you had the tripod there so that answers my question 👍
No problem
