2 weeks back visited your store for a all white PC build the prices were higher than expected and when asked about few specific products as I was to build all white PC the guy told me this is the best they can offer example you couldn’t provide CL30 RAM, in my personal experience go visit the market ask everything in detail, than first check the products before paying and assembly. don’t rush when it comes to buying new components 😊

I had every component specifically tailor made according to my budget, but the moment I entire the store it was like "we don't have time for your crap give me your cpu, gpu requirements and I'll give you the best quotation" and it was the worst quotation out of all stores in that area. most basic psu, ssd, motherboard were suggested with 4070 super build. the quotation was 1.1L including GST I believe PC enthusiast can understand the quality of components they've suggested. anywhere other than that store inquired me which component to be used before quoting the price. and when, I personally messaged the sales guy this time to see the quoting price for my ideal build. he sent me the overall price and the breakdown price is still not sent(and I wasn't interested). now, I'm planning to buy my pc in another store.

Hey, I'm planning to build a PC. I'll do casual gaming but mostly ML stuffs. What GPU should be ideal for me. I thing 3060 has got 12gb right? that should be perfect for ML since I need more vram for my models. it should be ideal for money to performance ratio right?
Price to performance ratio is realtive. You need to specify a budget and then someone can suggest something. But yes, for ML you need to have higher VRAM than normal gaming. Also, there are some models who run only on 16GB and higer cards. So, check which models you want to do and buy appropriately.
@@TH-ib5ly Yeah right. I can invest 1lac. I know 16gb cards can only run 7B lang models at top and I think SD runs without any issues. I am also confused whether to go for this. I can rent compute instance instead for ML related tasks too. that would be better I guess.
@@zendr0 if you have other stuff like monitor, ups (if required) then you could build an OK ML pc in 1 lakh. But i would suggest you rent an instance for 1 month and try it first. The thing with ML is training can use so much time and a rented instance with the availability guarantee can run in background while you would have to keep your PC up all the time. Only thing i worry about is latency and your machine where you will use the VM. If that machine is not good, even with a rented instance, you might not have benefit as VMs are heavy on resources.

Currently, I am using colab to write the code and then addiing that to my local repo. But this is very unproductive. So, I thought having a GPU for things like this make sense. Well said, This kind of scam is happening almost everywhere specially with processor generations, Flipkart prebuilt pc section is the living proof of the same where they're selling i7 3rd or 4th gen at around 30-40k lol.

😂😂😂 I can understand rage behind this video genuinely this a scam every offline market doing I have build my pc around 50k long back but now when I willing to add GPU I have to replace motherboard and smps even though in starting of building I have clearly mentioned what actually I need n how I'm planning for future 😂😂 I have received every specs as per requirement bt everything is outdated like no future upgrades.... It's painful to see something like this, anyhow I'm gifting that pc to my brother who is very moderate use so as per his use it's more than enough so it's not a total loss... For me but it's painful for people to not value someone's hard earned money.... By doing this many service providers lose their long lasting relationship and customers..

Hey, I'm planning to build a PC. I'll do casual gaming but mostly ML stuffs. What GPU should be ideal for me. I thing 3060 has got 12gb right? that should be perfect for ML since I need more vram for my models. it should be ideal for money to performance ratio right?
Spend 5k more and get 6750XT. It has more Rasterization performance. However for AI you can get the 7600 as it has AI cores.
Price to performance ratio is realtive. You need to specify a budget and then someone can suggest something. But yes, for ML you need to have higher VRAM than normal gaming. Also, there are some models who run only on 16GB and higer cards. So, check which models you want to do and buy appropriately.
@@TH-ib5ly Yeah right. I can invest 1lac. I know 16gb cards can only run 7B lang models at top and I think SD runs without any issues. I am also confused whether to go for this. I can rent compute instance instead for ML related tasks too. that would be better I guess.
@@zendr0 if you have other stuff like monitor, ups (if required) then you could build an OK ML pc in 1 lakh. But i would suggest you rent an instance for 1 month and try it first. The thing with ML is training can use so much time and a rented instance with the availability guarantee can run in background while you would have to keep your PC up all the time. Only thing i worry about is latency and your machine where you will use the VM. If that machine is not good, even with a rented instance, you might not have benefit as VMs are heavy on resources.

Currently, I am using colab to write the code and then addiing that to my local repo. But this is very unproductive. So, I thought having a GPU for things like this make sense. bro i just want to say something if your goin to a pc store and asking for a pc of 1lakh rs instead of asking for specific parts for the pc , the store person will natuarally assume you dont know anything about pc parts selection so from his perspective its useless to list the skus and exact specs of each component of the pc . if the person in question really dosent know about pc parts then just buy prebuilt its more easy on the person buying instead of trying to buy for individual pc components .
At that point the person is just stupid, spending 1 lakh and not even an ounce of research
