Empowered People is a cycling charity that attracts members from all over the country. I've been involved with videoing what are essentially home-movies of some of the away trips. I don't cycle to the same extent as these folks - they are really inspiring and a good bunch to be with. My view of their activities would be as below.

Cycling charity for disabled cyclists. Adaptation of bikes to a high degree of technical sophistication to address a wide variety of individual impairments.
Provision and organisation of short away trips with long runs, assisted by experienced outriders and technical / organisational backup.
A friendly, encouraging and motivated group with ambitions towards a wider horizon despite impairment obstacles.
