What a pretty block, the ribbon and flange really takes it up a level. I'm thinking of using each month's birthstone colors for fabric - and hope that - they go together ok

That's basically what we're doing-- we will pick a neutral sashing to tie them all together-- it's going to look great!

LOVE the flange!!! And, all your wonderful tips on appliqueing the Birth Month onto the pieced block. Are you going to use purple for all 12 blocks??

Probably not, Dottie-- but honestly anyone can do whatever they want! You could stitch all of your embroideries on the same background. I like my colors to kind of go through the seasons-- I'm thinking of a sashing color that will bring them together.

Thanks, Cathy! They are just 2-1/2" squares-- just took my time! The edges will probably fray over time, but it was hot off the press for the video. xoxo
