Completely agree with your statement and sorry to be nitpicking but I assume when you say LS1 in comparison to a rotary to are talking about the V8 in Hertrech's FC? If you are, I just wanted to inform you it's not an LS motor in there, it's a 5.3L V8 taken from a Chevy Silverado truck which according to google is a "5.3 L Vortec 5300 V8". The guy that drives the RX-7 is called Hertrech. He is a big black guy, that's why it makes sense there is a hip-hip song on the video. I am white as fuck and I love the song cause it's bad ass and makes the video more fun. The car is sick even though I HATE LS swaps, but he puts it to good use and for that, we thank you.
