Would you be able to do a video on the setup and adjustment of a non-Norris infill plane? I've managed to come into a couple, but I'm still new to planing in general. There aren't many videos (or any, really) of people being able to explain infill plane use where they know what they're doing. They seem to all know Stanley Bailey -type planes and just tinker with infills. For example, how do you back the blade out for fine adjustment without striking the plane?
I love your videos. You are such a skilled craftsman and still so very humble. I wish I could be your apprentice. I just received some brass flat stock because I just finished watching your series on making the mini mitre plane. Bronze is hard to come by where I'm at but brass isn't too bad. I want to make my own but while using your design(for the most part). I'll add some of my own details here and there. Do you have a website that has any drawings/schematics of your planes? The angles are probably going ti be the hardest oart to get right, not to mention the dovetails/cupid bows. I love the finial/scroll design on the wedges. It's such a beautiful way to add to a handmade tool. I've been binge watching your channel cintent throughout the last few days. I hope to see a response from you. 😊 Cheers
Glad you find the videos useful. Videos 81, 82 and 83 give you some details on the angles. All my metal mitre planes are different sizes so I don't have plans as such. www.billcarterwoodworkingplanemaker.co.uk/ this is our website. We have techniques pages which may help you.
Just found your channel and you sir should be declared a living national treasure!

Excuse me, but would you know the original dimensions of a Norris cutting iron?
