I am looking to get a Red Sport and test drove the 2018 Sport. The 2018 Sport had no issues with the turbos. It kicked in fast.
I feel that bro, just a tad bit a lag still you’ll notice it eventually
When you talked about your pulls the first thing I thought about was your climate. Those turbos love cold humid climates.

Saw somebody comment about letting the car warm up for too long. Not tryna start anything but I rather replace an oil pump than a turbo or block. I overkill and will let my car warm up for 20 minutes before work sometimes

There’s no dual clutch transmission on q50 only auto . Those are called paddle shifter it’s almost on all modern auto cars too
I don’t have paddle shifters . Automatic/Manuel then .

2018 sport owner in Arizona as well. If I'm in Sport or Sport plus, I have very little lag. Gas goes down quick, but I've only had it 4 months, so I'm heavy on the gas all the time right now still 🤣. Looking to do an exhaust and maybe an intercooler upgrade soon if you know anyone good
Mishimoto or AMS bro for your top performance intercooler. If not for budget friendly intercooler burger tuning . Either or tho your getting the same cooling regardless. Just with mishimoto and AMS your getting a lil more since there intercooler are bigger. And for exhaust you can MBRP 3” exhaust. It’s too on the market . If not go to a local muffler shop and have them make u a custom 3in exhaust . It’s pretty much the same thing. Just the sounds from MBRP are a lil bit deeper tone

Yeah i got my q50 luxe 2018 i don't know about much as my second car i have same problem with the turbo it sound different like air coming out it doest have the boost anymore i think my turbos is blown out and it drives like a regular car now
I have a 2018 Luxe too and Im pretty sure they purposely program it to hold the turbos back due to the transmission being so wack. The transmission is the NUMBER 1 thing holding this car back in terms of performance. Transmission is straight wack sadly

i have a 2019 q50 Luxe, was wondering how you got the middle part of the dash to show your speed, mine doesn't do that when i switch between the pages.
That’s odd it should for all 2018+ models if I’m not mistaken
It can be found within the settings in the infotainment, not the ones you switch with the steering wheel… hope it helps 👍🏽
