Very cool video! Such a nice change of pace to find someone who shows some quality indy games. I've been busy with the AAA games but know that there are some serious gems in the indy world. I'm late to the switch party (bought mine in 2021) and have been grinding through the back catalog. I love the switch as a platform and I see it sitting on my shelf with my NES/SNES/64 and Wii... you know, something to show the grandkids. And I've done my best to find some of the 3rd party games that really play well. (think old school Capcom for NES, SquareSoft for SNES... the 64... well that system hurts. And the Wii gave me gamecube games as well as quirky Wii titles) And its super important for me to find physical games that I can load 10-20-30 years into the future (we'll see how that works). I'm getting older and don't have the circle of friends like I did when I was a kid. Videos like yours are so GD important. Thank you!
I would like to see a follow up video like you mentioned. I would recommend you mention (or check out) Steamworld Dig 2, Blue Fire, Crosscode, Hades, New Super Lucky's Tale, A Hat in Time, Dead Cells, Yoku's Island Express, Binding of Isaac, My Friend Pedro, Monkey Barrels, Kaze, Wonderboy Asha in Monster World, Hotline Miami, and Rime.
@@RetroWolf88 Steamworld Dig 2 was probably one of my favorite games from the PS4 era that wasn't a triple A title. Alienation is an awesome PS4 twin stick shooter too I just remembered. I loved that one too.
I never heard anyone say they tear up from a game before. LOL. Normally if I get emotional, it's during an inspirational movie like "The Pursuit of Happiness" or "Facing the Giants". I love inspirational movies. Rudy is another favorite.
