Porsche OEM Parts = Made in China?! Faulty 986 Boxster Headlight Switch

This OEM headlight switch purchased from Delaware Porsche Parts was Made in China?! Not surprisingly, it was manufactured incorrectly…and I’m not the only one who has run into this issue:

If Porsche is looking to outsource part production, why not try Japan or South Korea? I hear they make reliable cars there...and if Porsche chooses China, why not price them accordingly rather than make a money grab?
