- President Cyril Ramaphosa struggled to make himself heard above former president Jacob Zuma’s supporters on Friday as the party’s 55th national elective conference finally got underway. Its start was delayed by several hours as delegates tried to register. Many groups from out of town only arrived in Johannesburg in the morning.

When Zuma's Presidency hit choppy waters he invited Ramaphosa to run for the deputy Presidency in 2012 on his slate and Cyril got more votes than Zuma. In 2017 Ramaphosa defeated Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma who was endorsed by Jacob Zuma. KZN which is the biggest voting block and where Zuma is said to be heavy weight came out of that conference empty handed. In 2022 having failed to get his ex-wife nominated Zuma threw his weight on Zweli Mkhize who was soundly defeated again by Ramaphosa and yet again KZN comes out of the conference empty handed. Now he is trying machinations with a private prosecution. you see Zuma, his family member and his affiliates have all failed to defeat Ramaphosa. So you see yi nganekwane nje leyo. What is left is that the stolen Brahman and Sussex cows in Zuma's kraal have a contest with the Ankole in Ramaphosa's farm in Ntaba Nyoni. Have you seen the horn of the Ankole?
