Pro tip: most of the heavy metal Bakugan have horizontal weight, so if you manage to spin it to card, while the metal ring keeps the horizontal position, it's easier to stand!
You might notice me rolling that way with Delta Dragonoid each time!

I love that you guys didn’t use support pieces. Like I’m ok with traps and even battle gear, but everything else just is extra useless plastic.
I've played a few OG games at my local shop! It's always good to remember the past, as long as we support the present and look to the future.

Simplicity makes for a neat little game! Every game ends up feeling really clutch, even there's some lack of strategic depth.

@@m.cchavez1956 that was terrible, the traps were nice and the battle gear was somewhat cumbersome but still easy
to understand but after that they come out with way too many gimmicks and stuff

I've watched the original Bakugan Battle Brawlers so many times! Glad people still play it. I tried to watch Bakugan Battle Planet but I got confused and gave up on the first episode.
So cool to see a legacy brawl. I want to see more of these.

my og deck was a darkus/ventus mix, they had a lot of synergy together for some reason

Still would love to see a rematch. It's VERY hard to find games between HSP and the reboot on youtube. Me and my friends used to play "The Big Game"(as the rulebook calls it) which is 6v6 Bakugan with double the ability/gate cards/gear. I would also love a video like that if you ever wanted to try it.

i've never seen anyone play this game before
like the game was heavily publicised and got pretty popular when the anime came out on tv but the toys existed, but I've nvr had anyone to play with so it was always just "this looks like a nice marble to collect" kind of thing

I wish I had a chance to properly play the game back in the day. To this day I still collect the classic toys, and have a tendency to build decks using them for the heck of it. Heck, I even built a 6 attribute deck because why not? I'm basically always ready for a round, lol

@@haosmagnaingram6992 more ability cards (2 each color/6 abilities in general), you can add an extra gate cards, better double stand rules
Bittsweit isn’t two 6 ability cards/bakugan/gate cards just big brawl format which was still a legal format on the western rule books
@@haosmagnaingram6992 no no big brawl is 6 gates and 6 abilities, japan rules are only 6 abilities also better battle gear rules

broo in the combo battle fang guy adds the gate cards G twice , once for both bakugan , while jett only adds the G once for both , thats why he lost it , otherwise the total printed G were the same before the gate card and pyro had a bonus of 150G while Ventus had 100G , so jett's bakugans should be at 1530 while the enemy bakugan was at 1430, still nice battle tho XD
kinda weird that im commenting this more than a year later but dont judge me XD
In the first combo battle, jett only got the 1 gpower boost while fang got it on each of his, so if they had both applied it on just 1 or both then jett would have won, surprised nobody caught that

I bought the sleeves at Collected Comics, my local game store. You can get standard card sleeves at pretty much any card, game or comic shop.

Dang if only fang had been able to remove both bakugan. Jeeze that strategy would be dirty, it reminds me of Dan vs Chan Lee when he used sling blazer to get rid of both manion and warius.

Now, I haven't played Bakugan since I was in elementary school about a decade ago and I'm sure I probably played it wrong back then, I still had fun collecting them (even though I could only get them from family as gifts). Now, I never played any of the newer versions with all the traps or gear or anything or the newest version, but I feel that they overcomplicated the game with all these new rules and features and such. If I was to play and collect Bakugan again after selling all of them so many years ago, I would collect the original Bakugan as they really were special. They also aren't just robots. They were more natural beings and with some mechanical like Bakugan. Anymore, they're just robots and it isn't as cool and feels too complex. I'll stick with the OG series and maybe collect some of the others if I like the Marble itself but that would be about it but there are some of the early seasons that I would probably get too. It's mixed but it's just how I see things.
