I discovered this channel recently and it has made me remember how much fun I had with Bakugan.

That's an intense battle I enjoyed watching it so cool to play bakugan again for a long time as a kid. and thus the legacy of bakugan is the one best anime ever.

i've never seen anyone play this game before
like the game was heavily publicised and got pretty popular when the anime came out on tv but the toys existed, but I've nvr had anyone to play with so it was always just "this looks like a nice marble to collect" kind of thing
so seeing this video feels like im getting to experience the game that i wanted to try and its a nice feeling

I never really got into bakugan, my relationship was effectively the "I just think they're just" meme. When I went to china when I was 5,I was given a bunch of super cheap bakugan, and my favourite was the one with the big claws which unfortunately broke in my pocket. I still have three of them, but seeing these brought back memories.

Maybe breaking down deck archetypes, meta, tier lists, etc. RUclips recommended me one of your bakugan videos and now I'm interested in getting into competitive play! Maybe I don't know all the resources yet, but am having a harder time trying to find more info about the competitive scene so I thought it would be a neat idea if you could create some content and share your great knowledge of the game. Love the content and your efforts! :D
Competitive content isn't really my main forte, but I do like to slip a /little bit/ of stuff in here and there.

@@jettmthebluedragon My main 3 are Ventus, Haos, and Aurelus, but I can't get many Aurelus bakugan, so I also use Darkus . I really like Aquos but I can't find any for some reason.

I have a little question, do they still sell the old bakugans? Because I saw only "The new generation with that new kid" I'm interested more in Dan's generation.
You can only buy the legacy bakugan on secondary market, E.G. eBay or other auction sites.

True. Also the Doom card is called the Death card. Same scenario with the Doom dimension. I also know the japanese names of these Bakugan that they use.

I love the Baku Showdown series! Both Battle Planet and the HSP series! Just a question, do you have any plans of doing the legacy series style of battle with THE WHOLE NEW ABILITY CARDS. That would be cool!

Also hmmmm... if it’s not you, toolbox’s reddit flair is ventus, but he hasn’t been in a Baku-showdown only masquerade. Hunterserge is in Canada so I doubt it’s him, also his favorite OG is lazerman. Could be Queso but green isn’t really one of his church of fury badboi colors. Ghostlights could be displaying the legendary “Double Ventus” deck he came up with, though he doesn’t use that cause it isn’t fun, also HSP so unlikely to play ability cards. Deven mac is in Canada so it’s not him (also wouldn’t make sense to do hsp, instead of wynton bp deck.) It’s not Poppy as that is clearly a ventus dragonoid and not darkus Pegatrix.

Is this game is worth to play outside North America?
Because:
1- i never see new products outside US and Canada ( since they sell them as toys instead of collectible Miniature and Card game like Heroclix but also disttibuting booster boxes like yugioh. That poorly thought decision made them pay higher taxes in countries with stable TCG and MG communities like France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Chile,... That would enjoy a miniature game with TCG's dopaminergic pace)
2- Products have a high pricetag and no random factor in the bakugans ( Single prices are too high and it's mostly because of packaging. If they do like Heroclix, and sell the spheres in a simple designed random booster pack that can be sold for a solid 2,99 USD and 70 USD for each "24-Bakupacks" Miniature box, the game would grow exponentially. Deckbuilding kits, starter sets and booster packs could also be better designed)
And
3- Lifedecking system. Lifedecking is like the worst error in cardgaming design. Why would i pay 250 USD in a playset if in most matches they would always drops as damage? Which can be only corrected if they remodel the entire game ( because of flip cards). One solution is a format that i suggested to spin master not so long ago, that instead of lifedecking, it's a 30 LP that each turn, both players has a turn but both draws 2 and may drop 1 as energy. Turns structured with Main phase 1, battle phase and Endphase. The turn player can play evos and Heroes during Main phase 1, and only evos during end phase, action cards can be played at isntant speed but after a stack resolves, the turn player has priority again. Before battle, each player may chose an already opened bakugan, but it has to pay energy equals to that creature's current evo cost +1 ( if base, pays 1. If it's a titan Pegatrix, pays 5). Battle occours slightly the same way, but instead the turn players attack and the opponent turns into a deffending player. During Battle phase, if defending player lost the roll or the power challenge, it can use a flip card in her/his energy zone by paying its' cost ( keep in mind that it can generate energy for that cost), puts in the discard pile and place the top card of the deck tapped in the energy zone, you may only put up to 9 flip cards ( 3 for each bakugan/color). During my playtesting, the game went to a way more strategical,games went faster and you can play with your deck entirely without getting disgraced to deckout and not play your cards.

Hey, does anybody know how to add up the Gate attribute bonus of the HSP character card to the bakugan's original G-Power?
HSP looks wild and not in a good way. More like a "induce migraines in 9-year-olds" way because I know I would've gone crazy trying to make sense of it all. I wish I could have played Bakugan competitively when I was a kid, but not with those rules. This was still fun to watch regardless!
The 2nd game being primarily double stands got me upset but hey strategy?
