I like how formal this video is. There are lots of cool gimmicks, but a gimmick I find super funny is Mobile Assault. It’s not bad, just funny. I kind of miss some of the weirder gimmicks.
BakuClosers: a series of Bakugan with parts that will close automatically when taken off a Gate Card introduced in Gundalian Invaders. See bakugan.wiki/wiki/BakuCloser for more! Sky&Gaia Dragonoid. A two in one Bakugan!
I had no idea that the mechanic of sky raiders was banned in tournaments. Thats actually crazy but it kinda makes sense if it makes it easier to stand on whatever gate card you wish
While this Video is clearly focused on the first Generation of Bakugan product, the Second Generation’s gimmicks shouldn’t be forgotten, either - or, more specifically, the unique Bakugan Ultra gimmick seen prolifically through the first three years of G2. Also, there is a Bakugan from G1 with a gimmick entirely its own - Sky & Gaia Dragonoid, a Bakugan that splits into two when it opens, with each half counting as their own Bakugan.
7:24 “Not useful in battle” Sorry, I think this is a common misconception. Before the legacy website was erased for BP, the faq section detailed the rulings in regards to sky-raiders that I think would’ve made them meta relevant, if they weren’t “banned”. Basically if the Bakugan jumped successfully, you were allowed to place it on any gate card of your choosing, regardless of where it landed.
Tbh most of the gimmicks weren't as complex to use in play as people think. At least in my opinion. It's all just the same things with different flavours and points - to get more g power. Btw, will you make this type of video for gen 2?
the only good support pieces for me were traps, battle gear and special evolution bakugan. bakunanos, mechtogans, battle suits and mobile assault vehicles sucked and it was too much plastic for the card game!

Okay kid don’t get cocky!
I love the spinning Bakugan gimmick the most because it looks fantastic. Even it didn't affect the gameplay.
Love how informative this is!!! Especially to new coming bakugan fans that weren’t collectors until after the reboot.
Thank you!!! :)

GREAT JOYSTICK JESSE BAKUGAN GIMMICK

Bakugan armors were a short gimmick after bind
honestly I loved vortex bakugan, especially cross dragonoid
If I could chose, I would gladly throw any new gimmics out the window in favor of character development
This video feels very professional
Also Bakugan Treatment?
Treatment means translucent, reverse, chrome, etc!
@@JoystickJesseool can't wait
Also I keep rewatching 10:28-10:42 for some reason
You forgot bakuclosers which is like hackapoid

Possibly! My knowledge on season 2 is limited since I didn't get into it as much. And honestly, a lot of the gimmicks are the same...
😎👍
