Awww man, I wanted to, it I wasn’t gonna pay for the VIP things or seats or anything, I’m way too poor , for real. These tickets and driving all the way from Philly was a treat for myself that I’ll b making up in vape and day gig sales for the next month! How was it though did you go up to the stage or did you get to go anywhere back in a green room and talk for a few minutes or?! Just as a musician myself I always wonder how they handle those things. And more importantly, how you felt if it was worth it or if you did pay for a meet and greet, or not, then how was the time spent, did you get to ask any questions you wanted to ask or, just kinda went with the flow ? That s great either way and glad to have been at such an awesome show with you by proxy even, hah! :-)
I thought dope was very tight as a band, and Edsel definitely is on his damn game when it comes to vocal control and screams and groans from down register all the way up register! But to be honest their music , or songwriting isn’t white my cup of tea. Much preferred him as Xer0 doing that deal, he killed it with Static-x best he could . Don’t think many people could even match Wayne’s unique and crazy vocal breadth, range, and transition ability . He comes close tho and fills in well and I’m sure they have chemistry as a band and friends which makes 50% of a difference in any band to begin with. Great to see the show with you! !
I was here! We were here!! Wasn’t it a great show?! I mean it was an all ages show….which was weird especially when I saw the end of dope’s set and there’s like 40 year old couples there with 5 year olds dancing to “shut up motherf#cker!” And All…. In fact I didn’t really care for dope that much. Very angry and I prefer Edsel as Xer0 much much more…. But anyway this was my first time ever getting to see static-x . My car started to brake down on the way, didn’t know if I was gonna make it. Then I parked in what was probably an illegal spot but it worked out, then I started getting social anxiety, but I sat down for the end of sevendust (which I thought their sound wasn’t clear and not too well balanced, but I know they’re very good band as well ). And then #Static-X came on with their crazy 10 ft tall zombie guy walking around to the spoken word thing they intro with….. and I was hooked already. But really, Love Dump, yeah then I was throwing my hair around and screaming along “I really hate you” Xero says “ sing it for me “ “LOVE DUMP!!” Then to close with “I’m with stupid” and, of course, “push it”. Yeah they had a solid set. I really with they gave Koichi a solo or two like on cannibal or something I wanted to hear him shred more. But . They all killed it and , I’ll stop here cause that’s really what this was about. Although I do have to say being from all the way from Philly to hear them out in your stroudsburg area? Not many nice people when I tried to talk to anyone. A couple and a father and daughter we all talked after the concert, but in the intermissions or during the show? It was like I’d say something as simple as “ they killed that song” and the guy would just look at me and not react…. Idk if (if anyone can answer me?) there’s a lot of some kind of season to get holding people here that come out the stuff they don’t know? Like there were a lot like 50 and 60-year-olds that were seeming out of place or like 18 to 20-year-olds that of course could’ve found out about the band in the last two years, but in that case still, I would think they would be like “yeah man that was great”, … maybe use Stroudsburg people just aren’t that welcoming? Even some of the event staff I felt were kinda rude in terms of like I’ve worked in customer service, and they said stuff to people that I would never say to a customer.. BUT again, ok. Great, Effing amazing show! Had to save up money to come out of this even though the tickets were what I snagged for like 50 bucks even I spent about $30 in gas getting there and back to not to mention my car breaking down and freaking the hell out of me!… Looks like you had a seat in the balcony ! Thank you for your video, and this whole concert video too that’s just, above and beyond my friend . What did you think of the show and what did you think of the other acts? I didn’t even hear lines of loyalty maybe one song from them sounded OK dope was like really angry but damn he has a great vocal range in control and band Sounded pretty tight, from my professional musician perspective. but not my cuppa tea as a listener. Sevendust is a bit unique, I like their more melodic or different time signature stuff I had heard online I guess is the much lesser amount of their repertoire cause all I heard was loud too loud, and some breakthroughs of their amazing drummer and lead singer . Static-X,, that was amazing. Next? Coheed and Cambria as soon as I can see them somewhere close by!! Anyway, one more time propped and applause, and thank you for taking this whole video this whole time of this concert!! ❤
