This video is a POV review of a 2015 Opel Insignia OPC with a 2.8 L V6 engine. We do a walk-around and show both the exterior and the interior with the Recaro seats. We do some calm driving and some launches in both sport & OPC mode. The video shows 0-100 km/h.

Maybe your cousin’s car doesn’t have heated seats so it doesn’t have the button

I wonder if the ASTRA J OPC is much more direct and quick in Steering or not..
We haven’t tried an Astra OPC, but maybe someone else watching can help you out :)
Yes it is. Insignia is a fast long distance tourer designed for German highways. Astra is a very capable hot hatch. Little bit heavy compared with the competition but very capable thanks to front limited slip diff and hiperstrut (steering separated from power transmission, also present on Insignia). This hiperstrut was first introduced on Ford Focus RS (front wheel drive version) as revo knuckle. Gives very neutral handling on front wheel cars. I've driven all OPC models and Astra is the best. Corsa is a bit light in the nose and tends to spin wheels when pressed hard. On fast acceleration you feel the nose lifting. Not on Astra.
Hello , I want to know about speedometer of this car. When I was looking for this car I founded car without screen on the speedometer. Which version OPC I need if I want car with exactly this speedometer?

We don’t know very much about this car, but I think the screen comes with the 2015 model and newer models. Maybe you were looking at models before 2015?
@@JMCCarsPOV it’s new car for me , I had never interested this car. Opel is not popular in my place , but now I love this car. Also on my place insignia only before 2015. You answered my question, I wanted to understand screens before or after 2015. Thx a lot.
Funny that an 2011 audi a6 3.0 tdi quattro [245hp] reaches 0-61mph in 6.2 seconds stock,and this turbo petrol powered thing with 80hp more reaches it only 0.1 seconds quicker
You fail to use comin sense not understand nuance. Germans use WHP as their HP rating while most other companies use BJP. There's a huge difference between the two. Next this car is much heavier than it's competition - hence lower actual HP and heavier. The WHP rating is always lower number than BHP so it seems af if the Germans are faster on less HP
The Audi would only reach around 40mph before needing new timing chain(s).

How come he Changes Gear so Fast? It's just an Automatic.. Or does it just Look Fast? I want to buy an OPC INSIGNIA but it's so Hard to Choose with what Gearbox. On One Hand I want the Comfort to not have to Use a Clutch because it's a more Modern Feeling .. On the other Hand I want the Car to be Sharp when Accelerating and have Longer Gears.. I have no Opportunity to Test Drive the Automatic .. Damn. Don't Know.. I need a good Advice lol. Sometimes the Automatic seems Slugish when Accelerating from stand still to Full Acceleration. And the Gears only go to Red Line.. With Manual you can Pass it when Tuning.. 🙂 👌🏼

I haven't driven OPCs... but 6-cylinder Opels ever since the Senator, and it's rarely necessary to shift other than when coming down or braking to low speed and wanting full acceleration, or in city traffic, and the ones I've driven have had a gearbox and clutch that were perfect - but that is my personal experience - I have never missed an automatic once... even in city traffic where I rarely... drive.
Then, the automatic cuts the sound that you can hear here, the manual can be pulled much further on each gear and is a whole second faster to 100, and has less weight.
But my impression is that the last model from 2014 -, occurs more often with an automatic, and in the future I suspect that whoever has a manual will have something extra exclusive to brag about historically.
This engine should've been in the Regal GS.
It looks a little bite like the m6 f13 maybe 13%

Would Anybody recommend this car who have owned it for a few years I want to buy one but heard they are very unreliable
I know the man who owns the OPC in the video, and he hasn't driven it that much but I think they are decent. I have heard the rumours too, but I think you will be alright if you take care of it.

I have a black one and I can say you can trust the car! Most known problem is the exhausrmanifold bolt brokes. That can be easyly fixed

Max speed ?
We have not tried to reach the top speed ourself, but I think that it is limited to 250 km/h.
@@JMCCarsPOV - The standard Insignia VXR/OPC has a top speed limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The VXR Supersports (was available in the UK only) has a top speed of 170 mph (273 km/h). Not sure whether there was a SuperSport OPC.
@@Jimbo8012 There was a OPC version called Unlimited wich could also reach a top speed of 170 mph.

How come? The gearbox is kinda “clonky” in this car, but still a fun ride:)
7.something seconds to 100. this thing is mad slow man.
Opel says it's 6 seconds flat, but I know people who launched it for 5,7 seconds and it's stock so.
