I ordered 2 “new” iPod 5.5 from EoE yesterday. Sent a question asking if they are “thin” or “thick” back but haven’t heard back yet. I assume thin since they are upgraded to the SD memory, but want to confirm before ordering leather cases etc. Worried about lots of negative experiences I read about after ordering, but personally it hasn’t been long enough to make any judgement. Fingers crossed it all works out well!!
@@arunachaleshwark939 Got them, but one had major dust under the screen and one had a big scratch across the screen. Returned both. Luckily the return process was super fast and smooth, but still overall I would not recommend due to the quality control issues I experienced.
I just got my 5.5 in from them and everything’s good. Austin has been pretty responsive in short spurts. It took a little while to ship and sat on label created for a few days but overall im satisfied

I purchased parts for my ipods three times from them. Everything smooth and well so I purchasing a fourth time and it's a complete disaster. The sellers name which is Austin doesn't respond and dodges emails. It's been a month and I still don't know where parts are.
So I have a question. Is the Create Your Own iPod Classic option where you get sent parts to mod your own iPod classic, or do they send you the whole iPod with your own customizations and stuff?
Some of You guys need to chill. It’s a great legit website and a small business.. It’s not some big corporation or some idiot customer service that literally does nothing. Austin sources, finds, and builds these and ships them out. It’s a small business and promote him. he’s literally one of the only ones delivering at this kind of quality.
If you're reading this Austin: just know that I've gone from one of your biggest supporters to one of your biggest detractors, with each degrading order. Your nonchalant approach to customer service is nothing short of infuriating. Before Austin replies to this comment with "but I gave you a full refund!". Good, that's the bare minimum, I'm not going to rave about how the guy who gave me a full refund after wasting my time with garbage parts.

I believe I worked with Austin, very cool guy. Super responsive. They are my go to shop for iPod classic parts for sure.
