Being myself a mum I must say that I totally agree with Novympia. The toy is quite expensive (on Amazon €144.30) and it is annoying. As a parent you will have to help the kid play with it. If it doesn’t work can you hear the wining “make it woooork”. Then the fiddling with the wand … At last when the toy comes out you think that its all over and you can go around doing your business. No such way, help is requested with making it do magic… No, I would have thrown the bloody thing out of the window. Anyway the girls looked as great as ever. It’s amazing how good you guys look in drag. I look forward to the next video. You guys are my cure for depression and gloominess.
After watching Hoax I'm keen to see more involved, longer projects from you. More film work seems the most exciting option, you are clearly able and creative so I live in hope. X

First off, love these videos, I wouldn't care if you guys just did toy reviews, they're really entertaining! (Don't though, I love your other videos too). Second, the Magic Mixies products kinda make me sad because they're such cool ideas, but the quality just doesn't match the concept. The issue is they're already quite expensive related to other kid's toys on the market, so they can't increase quality without increasing prices, but then they're probably not going to sell because they're primarily a one time use. The only other idea I think could work would be to be more like Build-a-Bear and have a high quality controlled experience rather than trying to sell the experience in a box. However that of course is a completely different business and can't reach as many people without years, even decades, of work. Of course we're looking at it from adult's prospective and kids probably don't care anyway, it's the parents that have to deal with all the hassle. You're welcome for my over analysis of this children's toy buisness.
