I put a Stonelight Presence design up a month ago (single PAC ~20 firepower, ~30k mats for the whole craft)
Very very sad you didnt review it1!1!1!
Jokes aside SP is a bit of a pain in the ass to build for, but it I had a lot of fun building for it lol. I usually stick to the simple old water vehicles.
I'll get to it eventually, no worries. This is a big project, I have to prioritize. 😅
@@BorderWise12 Its all good mate I was having a poke lmao
When are you planning on making a wishlist. Currently im working on a Glacave AFV (easy) and a hard Stonelight ship (that has to change to a thrustercraft now cause of the new rule) but after that i need to find a new thing to make.
PS : I will make a small redesign for the nasus (T3FNUT) To fix the unstable wobbles, its caused by the thruster locations and controls
PPS : You can rename the fenrir or remove it entirely if you want. Its not my best craft and i didnt know the fenrir was something. I just asked a friend for a mythological name
As of now, the wishlist is any blank space on the spreadsheet table. I'll be making a more detailed and concise video about it soon-ish, though. Cheers!
Redownload the kickwheel so you can get the update, it’s already been rounded out a bit
Got it, I'll remember that. 👍
Just... something that I want to say...
Arbitrarily assigning difficulties based on size/cost is probably going to cause difficulties down the line. The CC editor portion of the game itself tries to balance craft around fp to cost ratio- which doesn't account for things like hardcounters, weaknesses, and so forth. You won't want to do it, but one of the better ways to balance bp difficulty rating is through in-campaign combat trials against craft of a similar cost. The only thing that difficulty setting actually does is determine the spawn frequency for a particular bp within a difficulty setting of a CC playthrough. So... like, if you assign an easy difficulty to something because it's small, and it turns out to be a flying squirrel or the like, it's going to be difficult on a beginner if the game spams it because it's set as 'easy'. Weeding out designs that don't fit criteria is probably perfectly what you should be doing at this stage, but actually determining a bp's difficulty is actually more like one of the last things to be done.
You are absolutely right, and combat trials will happen once the spreadsheet is properly filled out. 👍
I know one guy who's working on a CC and the way he's doing it is to basically round-robin combat tests for a given class of craft; difficulty rating will ultimately be based on their win/loss record, with potentially some allowances for specialized craft.
Not sure how well that would work here, that CC has a limited subset of weapons available and strictly defined classes of craft that are (mostly) universal to all factions. A light cruiser there is never going to be over 150k, or fly (except one faction,) etc. Just one method to consider.
What is your cpu and gpu sir?
AMD Ryzen 9 and an ATX 2060. CPU is new, GPU less so. 😅
