Great episode! Thanks for making stories about us. I'm a 50-something writer myself struggling to get my sci-fi novel with a gay lead published, so I can relate to this character. The main difference is that I don't have a super hot boyfriend. lol.

Nice series Rich. Got an idea for your storyline in next season when he's broke: Ray becomes a male stripper at a gay bar to make ends meet. His title is Muscle Daddy Ray and he dances and flexes to get money to live. Freaks out at first from being timid, then he gets into it and makes lots of money..one catch..he doesn't take it all off...just makes them think they are going to get it so he teases the hell outta the crowd. Like man Gypsy. It gives him inspiration to write a new screenplay. Whatcha think?

Loving, relating, and understanding this show more than most know. I wish the episodes were longer though because I never want it to end. Yet, what I get in those few minutes just tickles my spirit and truly have me a bit excited, and even terrified about "The 2nd Act" ( I will be Nifty 50, in a few). As a middle aged queer person who lives in SoCal, this is a fantastic little series. It's refreshing to see the more realistic side of being older and queer. Self harm is unfortunately all too common.
I’m 52 and my health is getting worse every day, I no longer live, I only exist with constant pain. I don’t know how it happened but about 6 years ago I had to go to the ER because of what I thought was a prostate problem. The doctor they referred me to asked me to get the records for that visit myself and bring them with me. I had a break down when I read that they had put gay in the diagnosis content. Every doctor associated with that health care company has gay on all of my records. I was told to move to another state.
That's dumb, part of the reason I don't trust the healthcare here. It just became legal for us to donate blood in the U.S. cause now there are people that NEED it.

I have noticed that there's no subtitle on these episodes but only the auto-generated English one. Let me know if i can help with the Chinese subtitle. I wanna do it voluntarily.
