Armament of Yak 9 was poor by 1943 standards. One 20 mil and one heavy MG. But some of the Niners performance was due to keeping any weight to a bare minimum, including weaponry. They were mostly wood, overweight and underpowered in the main versions. Top speed of the Yak 9 was around 370 MPH in my sources. Basically, the Yaks were more maneuverable and more lightly armed P-40's.

armament could really be more in descriptive, to just say it had machine guns and cannons... and then not say how many and how much ammo for each.🤔
