Sometimes i paint with my left hand (non dominant hand) and that really helps me loosen up

Thank you! These techniques always look so simple, but they can add a lot to your paintings. For a beginner like me, being able to watch you is a big help in making progress. 🙂

Brilliant! ❤ And what a quick way to paint amazing trees! I only used the first technique when I painted a few landscapes recently so it will be nice to have a little variety in my artworks ☺ I love the results of the two other techniques so I will definitely give it a go 😍 Thank you for sharing Katie! ❤

How do i capture the essence of a scene in painting?Say i watched a magnificent sunset the other day and i wanted to capture the moment. But What i painted came out... 2D. I couldn’t reflect the massiveness of the sky above me nor how it made me feel. How did impressionists capture the essence of a scene? When i look at a monet, i can actually feel the warmth of the Bright sunny day he painted. I can't seem to capture that.
Your painting A New Day captures how massive the sky is. When i look at it.. I feel like I'm there. Underneath that sky listening to the sound of the Ocean.
I paint well, though i have a long way to go still. Most of it i taught myself watching ur tutorials. So Thank you so much. But this is something i've been struggling with...
How to make a painting come to life? How to paint something that makes People feel things? How to paint how i'm feeling? How do i express my repressed emotions through brush strokes?...
I'll be waiting for an answer. Thank you.
