- This plant has really taken off in the last three weeks or so, I have these melons growing all over the place. This one is the first one to grow to full size and ripen on the vine. As I have been asked a lot about this melon, I thought I should do a video on it, along with what I think of the favor.
This is definitely a melon you should try to grow if you like growing unique plants.

@1Ggirl1959 It's fun to grow new things, try new things and find out if you like them. Plus, I give a lot of veggies away to friends and family, so nothing is wasted. 💯👍🤗
The garden has been such a blessing with anxiety during covid

2. Do you eat anything you grow? It seems you are not a fan of anything you grow. We laugh about it watching your vids.
3. Feel free to send some of those seeds to Louisiana, I’m definitely growing that next year. lol
I eat a lot of what I grow, I just don't showcase boring veggies.. 🤣🤣🤣
But I do enjoy giving crops away to people who want them, that genuinely gives me joy. 😊

They liked it, and after I ate it more, I started to like it also. Think of the cantaloupe flavor, just a lot more mild. 👍💯
@@DownHomeBackyardGardening oh good! Because I'm growing these this year and didn't want to waste space. My days of just gardening for fun and giving away are past now that it's become more of a necessity

Ha'Ogen (Ogen) melons have a strong mango like scent!
Wow - I don't think it smells citrus-y at all. Sweet & fruity but not citrus.
