You didn't eat tomatoes while on your trip?! That's probably why you got a headache. It was withdrawal symptoms! hehe
HAHA I know right. You miss with your daily intake you get your body all out of wack with what it is used to eating etc.
You son is my favorite little vegetable eater!! So precious!
I did my best to find the seeds after seen the Kajari in your vlogs. I never succeeded here in The Netherlands to produce a melon from my garden. And now i have 8 growing on 2 plants!!! So happy to have found you and your inspiration!!!! Bless you all!
Kajari melons are definitely on my list for next year, I can't wait. Ben's enthusiasm is infectious, My 5 year old watches y'all and then immediately wants to go out to the garden and try things.. So thank you and God Bless y'all
Just ordered some. Can’t wait!😀
I finally got some myself. I am going to defiantly be planting them next year.
My Son in law is from North India. He was so surprised & delighted to learn that we've discovered these melons in the U.S. He says they grow wild in India and they never have to plant them. He says they come up wild in the corn fields too, and grow up the stalks. They eat them green AND orange. When they're still green and not quite ripe, his Grandmother makes a "very yummy" chutney out of them while they're still sour & just slightly sweet. He also says Kajari is pronounced Kah-jah-REE.
aaand I just went down a Baker Creek rabbit hole (not the first time) and now have a cart full of stuff.
Haha! I know right? It is so contagious. Hahaha.
Just ordered melons sweet peas and poppy seeds!
i just ordered 2 packs. i am late stage 4 breast cancer and this is probably my last summer. i really want to grow and taste a kanjari melon. before i pass. GOD IS GOOD! hw provides and instructs and gives us knowledge to pass on.
God’s blessings. We are all one and our foods bring us together.👏
Melon Theology ❤️👍 isn't it amazing what God shows us in the simplest things when we incline our ear to listen ?? I'm mind blown constantly ✝️❤️👍
I really appreciate you teaching your children that spiders are friends! I wish more people did that, too many people kill them out of fear. They're such great, yet misunderstood little creatures.
Second this. I was brought up being taught that spiders were to be killed any time you found them. Yeah, I don't like them crawling on me but we catch them and put them outside if they are found in the house. I'd much rather have them around so they take care of all the other nasty pests. Let nature take it's course and stay out of its way.
You’re melon story is making me tear up💕
The Spirit of your Energy is SO GENUINE.
Ahhh pizza. That saviour of parents and university students alike.
I have never in my life heard such an awesome story about a melon. Great job keeping it thriving.
Yes amazing!
Awww...look at little Ben!!!
Because of you I have 3 Kajari melon plants growing, first time ever. So far 2 fruits growing.
We too are trying the Kajari melon this year because of you :)
Me too! lol
They almost all died from pests, I thought I would be lucky if I got 1 melon, but several plants made a come back and I have a at least 5 melons that I can see ! Excited!
❤❤❤I love Benjamin!! He is DEFINITELY your little gardening partner!! I get a kick out of how he knows the names of the fruit and just the funny stuff he says!!
I like your story with the Kajari melon. You’re such a great storyteller, I wish I had your skill. Your skill at gardening would be pretty useful too, but I’m still learning, so I’ll get there eventually 😊 Thank you so much for making these videos, they’re super inspiring to me.
I know she does so well. I have been learning so much from them. I can't wait to learn more and become more knowledgeable about my garden as it grows.
I hear the cicadas in the background. Reminds me of my childhood....
I haven't kept up with your show for a while because life gets in the way. But, after watching this episode (if that's what you call it) I was reminded about why. Why I love your channel. it is your natral lyrical thoughts that speaks the words in my heart too. So thank you, and i hope to meet you someday.

Very cool story about the little melon.
What are the odds that I open RUclips, and today my first kajari melon has fallen from the vine!!! Thank you Jess you are amazing!
I had this strange, mutant plant that came with my acorn squash seeds. I let it grow out of curiosity. If it weren't for you, Jess, always talking about your kajari melons, I would not have known where to start looking. Sure enough, I got one beautiful kajari melon, but it was a bit more yellowish when it was ripe. I have the seeds curing on a plate, of course! I'm excited for next year!
What a beautiful story and lesson. There are a lot of us that are now a part of that story. Thank you for inspiring us.
This video was just wonderful! To me it epitomzes what gardening is all about!Ben is part garden gnome for sure, he's not dirty, he is communing with the Lord in his happy place! You and Sweet Miah make such aweet babies! ALL of them!🦋💓👍
Yes a garden is beautiful and even the smallest things that are hidden if you look for them with give you the biggest rewards!
What a beautiful story about the (Kajari?) melon. I will have to seek those out. Thankyou for sharing the story. I’m just starting my first garden, in containers. You’ve inspired me, thankyou. Please keep sharing especially for us just starting and with much to learn.
My mouth was watering as you sampled those amazing melons!!
Definition of a little boy...Noise with Dirt on it. 😁 love your family!!
Thank you for your history on the Kajari Mellon
I ate my first Ha'Ogen the other day and it was so ripe the outside was orange! The flesh was pure white the whole way to the rind, and it was sweeter than sweet! Had a sweet, floral taste and we thought that the closer you got to the rind, the more it had a hint of a sweet banana flavor. So eager to try growing the Kajari Melon, I need to find seeds for it! The Madhu Ras is also a delicious one to grow that is small.
Oh my goodness Jess!!! I just had my very first kajari melon and it has literally changed my life and gave me this incredible joy for the end of summer and it's sweet gifts!
2021, because of you I have these melons Im planting in a cattle panel arch this year..
You have to go camping with your family and get away from the farm! Camping is part of the family hearth! I love watching your family and you teach me so much
Very well said. Great story. Goes to show how something so simple becomes so sought-after. I want some. I grew dragon eggs and hara Madhu melon from baker creek for the first time. Dragon eggs are amazing. Melon is growing now. Can't wait to taste it. You have also turned me onto the cherry tomatoes (blueberry) . Thank you so much.
You have taught me so much! You are a huge blessing!
By the way, I saw a video he other day that suggested using canteloupe in place of banans in a "Canteloupe Puddding" They were southerners as well, have you ever heard ofthis? My heritage is Alabama and 'I so' ain't herd o' such!' But I thought it might be interesting to try. Think Kajari melon custard...hmmmmm. Love you guys!
A friend of ours just gifted us some of these seeds. Can't wait to try and grow some myself so i can pass on the gift to others.
Love you guys, God bless !
Your son is so cute and your garden is so inspiring! Just planted Kiku Chrysanthemum melons and waiting to harvest. And I love the pink okra. Gotta find those seeds as well.

You and your family are the reason I decided to plant Kajari melons. It has started to symbolize Unity and Family. Thank you for you videos and for sharing your family with me
ORDERED SEEDS FOR THIS AFTER WATCHING YOU. THANK YOU. LOVE YOUR HAIR UP!!
Oh my goodness your little boy is sooo cute! Love it.
Besides the garden the insect sounds are awesome!
One of my favorite gardening videos of all time. The story of that one melon is very deep. Thanks for sharing it!
Amazing how beautiful a community of people care for this earth 🌍
Your Kajari melons inspired me to place one more seed order! Yours look orange inside, but I've seen others that are green. I just checked Baker's Creek and they say theirs are green, now. I will grow them and see what I get at the end of summer, but I sure would like an orange-fleshed variety. 🧡
Thanks! I was wondering why everything I saw was green while hers was beautiful orange flesh.
You are always so interesting and full of great information. Thank you so much.
I need to try growing these next year! I love it when Ben helps you in the garden, he is such a little cutie , I love him
Our first year growing Kajari. Cant wait to try it out.❤🌱
