Yunho appreciation is the highlight of this video! He does look crazy good (both wet and not wet) and his dancing is immaculate as always. Agree that the outfits are fire! The line distribution is actually quite fair in this song, I think San and Jongho got the most, deservedly so, but other members are sharing their lines with almost equal amount of seconds, so it’s not that bad, and actually Wooyoung got more lines that he did before this time, every Atiny is happy about it
After hearing it a few times you are absolutely right. I guess I was too hyper to pay attention.
Jongho couldn’t do the dancing/a lot in this because he was still recovering from his surgery. So he was restricted on how much he could move.
Thanks for the reaction! As a fellow Yunho bias.....I love the red outfit on him. Also to answer the question about why they have holes under the arms, I believe it's actually so that when they lift their arms, it doesn't lift the entire shirt up. I took dance lessons as a kid and they had to take one of our costumes and add holes to it so it didn't slide up because depending on the material, it might not slide back down 😂 As for Jongho, this was filmed during his hiatus so he isn't dancing in the MV. He is dancing in the music show performances though 😊

Honestly I think the line distribution and screen time distribution has been the best so far, other than the fact that Jongho couldnt film the dance parts due to his injury. But ofc Jongho had been done justice by that gun scene which was sick af.😊

Here's the best explanation of Ateez lore I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through There are actually a lot of supplementary videos that explain the story better but here's the best explanation I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through time and between dimensions. At first, they are searching for treasure and having adventures, but eventually they run into these bad guys who have chains where their faces should be. The bad guys are from Dimension Z, whereas Ateez is from Dimension A which is presumably where we are as well. But there is another version of Ateez from Dimension Z called the Black Pirates (aka Halateez) who are the enemies of the no-face guys. At first Ateez teams up with Halateez to fight against the no-face guys (they are the ones in the black hats in the MVs for Answer, Say My Name, and Hala Hala). Eventually something happens and Halateez disappear (I'm not totally clear on this part) and Ateez ends up in Dimension Z instead of Halateez. What they discover is that the no-face guys are in charge of the government and they have brainwashed everyone in Dimension Z to have no emotions so that they can be controlled. Ateez sets up a subversive movement to take down the corrupt government and restore emotion to the people. To do this they use propaganda in the Guerrilla music video and chili peppers in the Bouncy music video (because apparently people can feel the burn of the spicy chilies and that helps reconnect them to feeling). They also smuggle weapons in the chilis. In this current episode (Crazy Mode mv) they need to finish taking down the government and get the heck out of Dodge. But the chromer is broken. It broke at the end of the Deja Vu music video so how are they supposed to leave? Yunho and Wooyoung are working on the pirate ship in the lab. Meanwhile Jongho and Mingi break into the lounge where the high government officials do their business and start shooting things up. They other members are being rounded up by the government but they just have to wait till Jongho kills the leader and Wooyoung wraps up their plan for getting home. If you notice that in the beginning scene there is a crescent moon and in the final scene a full moon. Ateez can only travel on the full moon. In the extra scene at the end you see the full moon, but the pirate ship and presumably Ateez as well are gone even though they left the broken chromer in Dimension Z. In the song Halazia, Yeosang has a line, "little blue bird that list it's voice." I think they are using this as a metaphor for the people that lost their emotions (if you examine the other lyrics of Halazia). At the end of Crazy Form, you can clearly hear the bluebird singing as it takes to the sky. I assume this means that the bluebird found its voice and the people found their lost emotions. But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected? and between dimensions. Sara, been waiting but been a little busy in TinyTown lol This mv is actually Halateez (Black Pirates) if I'm not mistaken. They all were so amazing in this and with so many funny moments. Oh also I'm glad you got the glove reference and apparently it was KQ who wanted in the mv lol. The reason Jongho wasn't in the end was because of his knee injury, other scenes he's either sitting or standing. This song is such a bop. 😂

As for the nail polish, Captain usually only has one nail painted per hand because he is a longtime supporter for the “polished man” campaign which works to violence against women and children. 1 polished nail per hand is how he shows people that he is a supporter.

I think Jongho wasn't in any of the choreo scenes because at the time the MV was filmed he was still receiving treatment for his knee injury and had to take it easy
12:25 this was filmed while Jongho was recovering from his surgery, so he's not in the heavy dance scenes.
Jongho was injured here. His scenes were mostly sitting down with the gun. He couldn’t participate in the dancing scenes.

Well, Yunho's abs and nipple is all over my X timeline 😫.
I believe Jongho was hurt and they filmed the MV while he was hurt and then they went back and added his scenes after the fact, which is why he's missing from several scenes.
The TLDR with San and Seonghwa is that San impersonated "the captain" of the Black Pirates and Seonghwa performed as a distraction to let the real captain go and do some crazy sabotage :D At the beginning of the MV the moon was blue, and we can assume that the scenes of them all running somewhere/Mingi in the car driving, etc., were them all leaving back to A universe (tho IDK about San and Seonghwa bc they were getting arrested on purpose lol).

This whole video was certifiably insane, they went IN on it. I literally had to catch my breath after i watched it, i felt like i did the choreo too. 😂 And the styling, omg, this is the first video where i feel like i love all of the outfits. I LOVED San's look with the beanie and glasses and purple/blue jacket, i have a severe weakness for San in a beanie. 😅 And Hwa in that corset, chef's 😘.
When Yeosang's hair was bright green, i loved it (thats my favorite color) he pulled it off well, especially when it was longer; but when they added the black in i didn't like how they did that, a few streaks would've been okay imo but not like that. I get what they were going for, and Yeosang is so fricken stunningly beautiful he can pull any hair color off. 😊

There's actually a video log where one of the member asked the staff to cut off the sleeves under the armpit so they can dance freely. Sometimes their outfit is kinda tight for their hard choreo. I cant remember which video tho. So i think this situation might have the same issue. 😙
