Wow...never thought that she can drag two pigeons at one time - awesome GREAT SHOOTING as always Bro !!!
@@rolexr thanks, mate, I was surprised to see her get that greedy and impatient myself 😄
Gawd, that cat is such a bonus. And great shooting mate!
Thank you, friend, and my cat retriever is really something 😄
Hi Alex, enjoyed the video, as usual. Been a bit short on targets here, one skyrat and a magpie in two weeks, but I have a new quarry. Mice! They come from the hedges at the back of my garden. They hide under the hedgehog boxes then dart out, so fast to my bird feeder. But patience is best. Shooting my Umarex Airmagnum .177 over 12 yards. Miss more than I hit, but it's good fun, and a sniping challenge. Big Steve, UK
Always a great show, Alex.
Thank you kindly, Dave 😊
Good to see another fine video Alex.
I have been trying out the H&N heavy slugs 34gn at 940 fps they hit like a train. The FX Impact M3 delivers the goods
Well done, mate 🙂👍 And thanks too.
@@AirRifleActivities I quite often ust the 15.89gn Jsb Hades for shorter range, push them at 880 fps and the do a great job and use less air
thanks Alex, look forward to your weekend videos , as i said before.. best on ..RUclips
Thank you, Malcolm, I'm really grateful, and I think I've said it before 😊 It's great to have guys like you watching.
The cats protective maternal instincts have kicked in. It's not you she wary of it's everyone and everything.
You're right, Sir 🙂 It makes sense. And thank you 🤝
Perhaps a little self adhesive rubber foot under the back end of the stock? Looks like that gun is capable of Huben like power with the same or even better accuracy. Interesting that the slug didn't expand, is it that hard lead compound ? I must do a cut test and compare it to the other slugs I have .
All and all it looked like a nice day out on the permission even though not too many pigeons stopped pooping on the grains. 🙂
Thanks for sharing Alex and as usual looking forward to the next video! 🖖
Hey, Hasse 🙂 Thanks for yet another view of my content. I was thinking of putting something like that there - either that or a monopod.
Huben-like power... Perhaps in .25 🙂 The ZAN alloy is soft enough; my understanding is the slug deformed upon impact with the hard plastic in such a way that it couldn't expand properly. There may be a second take of the same test 😉
@@AirRifleActivities it is pushing 81 Joules at that setting so not too far away, and I guess there's still a little more power left in the gun. :-)
Awesome video Alex very accurate air gun keep up the great work thanks for sharing be safe buddy 💯😎
You too, Chris, shoot straight, brother, see you on the next one 👍
Great video Alex and excellent shooting the Epic rifle looks like the Evol. Cheers brother
So they tell me, Donald, never had an Evol myself 🙂 Thank you, friend.

Very addictive and irresistible Alex great content as always, can i ask in which country are you shooting? Cheers Clint.

Thanks for watching, friend 🙂
That cat is about to have more kittens !

I believe she is, Ian, yes 🙂
@monax. you're spot on, mate 🙂
You could do with some screw together drain rods to get the sky rats from those out of reach places
Thanks for the idea, Nigel 🙂 But no need, the buzzards and kestrel take care of them, even if they don't eat them, they bring them down.
Like always, another great footage, Alex!! Those flying rats cause a lot of damage and transmit a lot of diseases.. You have my respect!! Keep up the good job!! Cheers!!
Thank you, friend - both for watching and for the understanding 🤝
Epic gives a video of 700mm barrel . 150-200 meter grouping Zan slugs 33gr.
Credit to Epic, all good, but I'm not going to use a 700 mm barrel, the gun becomes outrageously long, way too much for my taste. But thanks for your comment, mate 🙂
Nice gear interms of desing, finishing and accuracy, the groupings are amazing! nice shots. By the way, your friend is right: youngster pigeons are a real delicacy as their meat is tender and softer than old ones are.
Thank you, friend 😊 Means a lot. Btw, can you answer the question from the end of the video? 😉
I haven't the foggiest idea? As a guess I would say Putin?
@@faycalamezianeelhassani4471 try looking at the middle of the twentieth century 😉
04-06-2024: That cat is storing the pigeons for later or she’s sharing with other cats.
Some guys wonder if she has a fridge somewhere 😄
@@AirRifleActivities: 04-07-2024: That’s really funny, maybe she does😊
That is some phenomenal grouping with those slugs. Glad the Epic 2 had a taste for them as well. Zan delivers to my boy Alex yet again. 😎
I staunchly defend that bagging the target is far more important than catching it on crystal clear footage. For the sake of content, though, I can give you an idea: when you shoot in the dark like inside that warehouse, instead of struggling to get slow mo, just do a slideshow-ish analysis of the pellet trajectory and impact. 3 or 4 freeze frames should be enough. It'll certainly be much easier for you to edit.
*Addendum:* A pregnant cat is a paranoid cat. It's nothing personal against you from Miss Tabby.
It occurred to me, mate - that thing about the cat. I don't take it personally - no one ever owns a cat, right 😉
Next time I shoot in that dark place I'll make sure I record with my main camera, which will provide better footage and a better vantage point for the viewer 🙂 Thank you for the idea though 🤝
Hope to be able to order myself a Two in 2 days
Go for it, mate 🙂👍

Thank you, friend, I think it's a great gun too 🙂
Hey Alex , a nother awesome video again there , looks like you going to have to soon get more sky rats as that cat is going to bring more mouths to feed soon Brother . Awesome. 😮
Thank you, Billy 😊 Almost none left there these days... The ones I cull are some newbies trying to gain a foothold but they won't 😉

Gracias, my friend, I'm trying 😄 You enjoy too, and hope to catch you on the next one.
Hi M8
I have gotten my Two rifle last Friday.
Run into a problem.
When shooting it there is a puff of air where the barrel meet the rifle body, taking off the barrel there dont seem to be any seal preventing air from moving that direction ( forward )
But there is a O-ring on the brass transfer part preventing air going backwards, and there are no air leak i can feel around the magazine when shooting.
Other than that the Two feel nice, though shooting it yesterday was not so fun as the wind ruined the joy with .177 / 4.5 mm, but i am optimistic it did not look feel bad, but need less wind to really tell about the rifle.
Buddy, I'm not sure I understand exactly... Did you try replacing that oring? Is the barrel tightened enough?
@@AirRifleActivities The only O-ringe i have around there is the one on the back side of the brass transfer port thing, and then the breech O ring inside the barrel, i have not touched any of them.
The barrel are at least as tight as it was from the factory, so more than i can tighten it down by hand.
The end of the barrel just butt up against that brass transfer port thing, and it kinda amaze me there is no O-ring there on the front of the little brass part, at least that is how i would have designed it.
After having it apart there it is as if the leak is a little smaller now, what i did was tighten the barrel as much i could, and then pressed that brass transfer port thing forward towards the barrel before i also tightened that down with the 1 grub screw holding the brass part in place.
Ill grab a few pictures CUZ i am about to clean the barrel.

Not tried to fix anything, the leak was there from the first moment, but i later took off barrel to clean it, with the tensioning part still on the barrel, i only have a torque driver no torque wrench to tension the barrel to spec.
@@AirRifleActivities I also made a short video of the leak.

Hello mate. I am waiting for mine long bottle lw version. I read on forum at do you have a problem when you put the weapon down to 2 days , there are two shots with lower power ? Or epic removed this problem ?
Hi there. I haven't noticed that. But some regulators do creep sometimes. Perhaps this is the issue those guys on that forum detected. It can happen with any airgun.
Saludos bro.. excelente video..
Gracias, hermano 😊🤝
Hola amigo lo felicito por su video interesante como las slugs impactaron los bidones con agua poca paloma pero el gato igual tubo su comida saludos 🤝🤝🤝

Man, I'm sorry for all the questions, but with the OrionCam GoPro mount from Orion, the iguana hunters' website, would I have to buy a special lens for my GoPro for the mount to work?
I don't mind the questions. Yes, for the GoPro you need an aftermarket lens.
If you don't want to change anything on the camera, get the Firefly 8SE with a 90° lens - Orion sells mounts for those too, and claims they work even better. Cheaper than the GoPro too.
@@AirRifleActivities Alrighty, do you know if Orion sells a GoPro lens? Or where can I get a lens? I’m a bit skeptical about the Firefly camera because I don’t know if it’s a crappy camera.
@@gboutdoors5198 some people like it. I don't. Could be just me. I bought my lens from Eagle Vision. Google "Eagle Vision Scope Cam".
Orion doesn't sell those. They tell me there's another manufacturer in Canada - www.back-bone.ca/product-category/lenses/.
@@AirRifleActivities Man, I want good picture quality, so I think I'll just get a GoPro. My dad knows some people who may sell a GoPro to me for cheap, so it won't be too much of a big deal. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it big time. I will check out that eagle vision lens. Thanks sooo much!
I think your cat might be carrying babies!
She definitely is, Kevin 🙂 Nor really my cat... She lives at that permission of mine.

Which one works best for you on the Epic? H&N or ZAN?
Haven't tried HN yet 🙂
its not pedantic Alex to care about the gun, those things aren't cheap! + (everyone needs a little bit of wood from time to time)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who see things that way, mate 🙂 Thank you.
Как всегда, выиграла Кошка и получила свою прибыль
Indeed so. Спасибо, friend 🙂👍
Alex what does "hold under" mean?
It means to aim slightly lower, Dave. The point of impact is above the center of the crosshairs. You do that when you aim at closer distances or at an upward angle.
@@AirRifleActivities OK, thank you, Alex!
Hello! What model of bracket is the scope mounted on?
Hey there. Here's a link to it: wg-epic.com/collections/rings-mounts-1/products/wolfiek-group-one-piece-scope-mounts-34mm
@@AirRifleActivities Thank you
Thanks Alex. Super😊
Thank you, friend 🙂
HP cavity, plastic was to hard to fill and expand ur projectile 👍🏻
Perhaps, friend, it crossed my mind, maybe the slug deformed upon entry.
One question my friend, if you reduce the speed from 985 to 970 won't the groups shrink? I saw this happen with my Vulcan3, with a slight reduction in the hammer and the groups were similar but without that shot that comes out a little to the side of 5 shots. to be more exact, the Vulcan 3 with the 120 bar regulator reaches 72/75 joules with the 25 grain and if I reduce it to 62 joules the groups are perfect.
It all comes down to testing, friend 🙂 My tests showed the gun to be most precise at that velocity with those slugs. The slug weight and size matters too. And let me tell you there are always slight differences between barrels, even on guns of the same make and model. Plus those are slugs, and you refer to pellets - I agree pellets prefer slower velocities out of many barrels.
@@AirRifleActivities I have a dozen fx liners of various sizes from 600 to 700mm for a wildcat modified by me and a vulcan 3 700mm and they are all happy with the H&N sulgs 25 grain at around 275 meters per second (62joules precisely). I don't remember but I think the FX has 130 bar on the regulator and the Vulcan has 120 bar. At 25 meters it is a hole from the first shot in the group and at 90 meters the size of a fingernail. Personally I think that 25 grain is more than enough for pigeons and crows even from 120 meters away.... If i change to 30grain i gain a distance of 120 meters in group size, but lose in noise from the shot. But as they say, variations dictate, but by chance with H&N sulgs the stability speed is 275m/s.
Why soooo much noise with the paper targets?
Because it's an indoor airgun only shooting range with concrete walls and no noise reduction materials. It amplifies the sound, especially the sound of the projectile hitting that hard wall in the back. As you could see/hear, no such thing when shooting outdoors.
Hitler? - Great video...👍👍👍
Spot on, mate! 🙂 And thank you!
Squab=Napoleon?
Close, but try someone who did a lot of bad stuff last century 😉
@@AirRifleActivities Too many of them buggers
I did expect to see a hole in the roof after the close shot...
Which one, mate? The one I took indoors?
@@AirRifleActivities yep. BTW i saw it on the wall at 03:22
@@TheUser412 well, mate, I wouldn't call 110-yard shot a "close" one, that's why I failed to understand what you were referring to 😄 What you see is a couple of small feathers stick to the metal - happens often when the soft alloy passess through the bird and splatters against the hard metal. In a previous video of mine I explained that, it was a while ago, mate, perhaps I should explain it more often so that there's no confusion...
@@AirRifleActivities I think I've confused you. I expected to see a hole in the roof from a close shot indoors. And later I noticed a hole in the wall from the far shot.
@@TheUser412 no, no, no hole, mate. Those were feathers that got stuck to the metal. And the indoor shots were not taken in that building 🙂
Stalline? Mao Tse Toung?
Mister Adolf, my friend 🙂 It was his favourite meal they say.
Just ironic, pigeons are symbol of peace, and peace is not definitly what Hitler is known for. Thanks for the information my friend.
Zero 55y 2 mil hold at 110, correct?.
Thanks for the video,👏
Spot on, mate 🙂 I was shooting at an upward angle too, which contributed to slightly diminishing the holdover. Thanks for watching 👍
