Out of all the 30 for 30 installments Once Brothers stays in my memory the most. Even the title itself when you know the story just crushes your heart.
Hrvat sam iz dubine duše i nikada nisam volio Vladu ali ovo stari nebudem nikada zaboravio !! Veliki respekt i pozdrav iz Argentine od Hrvata koji te osudio a nisi kriv
I've watched a majority of 30 for 30 documentaries on the past decade. There were probably better ones, but none that was MORE moving then Once Brothers.
Ko ista zna o nama I nasoj istoriji moze Samo da kaze...tuga,cemer I jad...Drazene pocivaj u miru!...najbolja generacija kosarkasa koju svijet(a ni mi nazalost) vise nikad nece imati priliku da upozna
I remember when drazen Petrovic died, and all I could remember was at the time him and Blade had that sour rift because of the craziness going on in eastern Europe. All I could remember was that I hoped they patched things up before Drazen went. I then see this 30 for 30, and it saddened me so much and brought tears to my eyes. Just reminds me that God will allow the craziest things to happen just for all of us to learn a valuable lesson so we can enrich our lives. It is still sad.
I was born in 1973 in Seattle, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. I had a hard time understanding how former brothers Vlottde Divac and Drazen Petrovic tore apart. That would be like Japan tearing apart, internally.
I read that this wasn’t accurate and drazen’s close friends they got into a disagreement over a hustle play and that’s what caused them to have a falling out
I would say that’s not true. I was born in Croatia. The dissolution pitted friend against friend and even in some cases family against family. I truly believe if that flag was a Serbian flag Vlade would have done the same thing. It was a terrible time back then and eventually there came a time when you had to choose a side and that side was your home country. You literally had ethnic Serbs living in Croatia and ethnic Croats living in Serbia. It was really a tragic no win situation. I respect your opinion but saying it was Vlade’s fault isn’t accurate at all.
@@thefrase7884 tell me more, and I'll admit it I am an amateur about the Yugoslav wars, I have seen several videos and documentaries about it and I'm still confused, definitely one of the darker stories of the 1990s if not the darkest
@@TheKrazyk2010 ……it’s a complicated, to say the least, situation. Croats, Serbs, Slovenians, Bosnians, Macedonians, well we are practically one. Before the war we were neighbors, friends, family, we served alongside each other in the our military, we went to school together etc
@@TheKrazyk2010 that is not true. Best 30 for 30. I’ve seen it about 10 times, and I still get choked up at this scene.
Drazen Petrovic was the best basket player I've ever seen.
No one even closer.
Love from Italy❤❤❤
The bulls might have picked him in 95 maybe

Drazen a real Mozzart of European basketball! A great talent that died so young! 29 years have passed since his death! Honor his memory!!! (*)

Well the breakup between Vlade divac and drazen petrovic was vlades own fault

Đubre... Bio i ostao, na Draženović imenu, predočiti sebe kao extra osobu, kako je Jure Zdovc reko:
90% nije istina u ovom dokumentarcu o Vladi Divcu
