Low Life In High Places is taken from Thunder’s second album, ‘Laughing On Judgement Day’. Produced by lead guitarist Luke Morley and Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor, it was released on 24th August 1992.

Probably one of the most underrated bands that walked Planet Earth.
In my opinion one of the best rock songs of all time. The lyrics still revalent today.

This is the first Thunder song I heard as it was played a lot on MTV in the early 90s. I went to Woolworths to buy the cassette on the day of release and played it continuously. It was only afterwards that I heard about Back Street Symphony and I've remained a big fan ever since.
I love this track. Has to be the best thing they put out. Both the video and the track are still sadly as relevant today with what's going on around us...the cost of living and all the associated problems that go with it.

Now I think about it, hearing LLIHP was the time I became aware of the band - remember seeing a brief clip on the ITV CHART SHOW 'Rock Chart', and initially didn't think too much about it, then soon after, heard the song in full on The UK Top 40 a couple of times, and it soon grew on me. Subsequently, when hearing 'A Better Man' and 'Like a Satellite', I was pretty much won over...

True! My brother died on Sept 1st 1996. Drugs will get you killed one way or another. He was 27 yrs old. He made bad choices. My second bro died on Dec 5th 2019 of a heart attack but he was also sick with some crud. We were all sick for months. No docs could give us a answer. 56 yrs old worked hard all his life. RIP Brothers.

this band has few very good songs although you probably never have chance to hear about Thunder cos no radio no tv etc plays the band; you have to have knowledge about them and seek them for yourself....it's a pity
